I think it's to appear like the nice guy party but your idea has merit. Dems would have summed it all up in five minutes or less and voted quickly with track shoes on. Instead this will drag out for two days at least.

Would be nice if the Dems were limited to only speaking about the Judge Alito nomination. This would have been over today.

Back during the Impeachment of Clinton I found the most disgusting picture of Clinton (I think he was biting his lip) and made a flyer out of it. At the top of the picture I wrote:

This was not the exact picture.

I sent this flyer to every one of the Senators. I doubt that they actually saw it, but whoever opened their mail probably let out a gasp.

I once had some alphabet agency come to my door asking about the neighbor...I felt awful talking about them...

But, I could seriesly say they were good people..and didn't have any thing strange going on...

It did give me the creeps though...
