Whats the platform of the NDP?
To: goldstategop
I agree, although it could very well be the only Liberal seat in the Ottawa area, and one of only two in Ontario east of Ajax.

They're socialists. The BQ that runs only in Quebec are socialist
souverainistes.

Saskatchewan: 8:30 pm CST, except 7:30 pm MST in the far west (9:30 pm EST / 0230 UTC) Trivia time: The boundary between the Mountain and Central time zones runs through the middle of the province, so they decided that on a year-round basis the western half would be Mountain Daylight Time and the eastern half would be Central Standard time. Both are UTC-6. That's why Windows has a separate time zone for that province.

Urgh. So do they usually form a co-alition with the liberals?
To: GreenLanternCorps
Well folks, they identified another case of Alberta mad cow
disease today.
Damn, - looks like Harpers first job will be to ask his
new pal GWB not to shut the borders again to Canadian beef.

My take ... expect the worst, hope for the best.
I'm hoping that we'll see a very high turnout, when compared to 2004, due to those who are tired of the libs corruption and want to see a change.
To: DeusExMachina05
Whats the platform of the NDP? It's taken directly from the Communist Manifesto.

I always lie to exit-pollers, and I encourage everybody I know to do the same.

Occasionally, if the Liberals will budge. More often they will agree on a few issues (the NDP will soften its stance).
The Liberals = US Democratic Party.

If you can pick up CTV you'll get far better coverage- they have some transmitters in NB. Click the local stations link at http://www.ctv.ca for more info.

We can say with a high probability of confidence the country turns a solid Blue except for the eastern cities and most of Quebec which I guess is going to be colored Teal. But between that is an unending sea of Blue from one end of the country to the other end. In Alberta, the Liberals will lose the sole seat they had there.

Who operates the Nuclear Voterizer machine in Canada to change all the electronic voting registers in favor of the CPC? Does Mr. Harper do that himself or does he have an evil genius advisor to run the Voterizer? I know this is true because Michael Moore and his admirers at DU told me so.
In all seriousness, best wishes for a glorious victory today by the Conservative Party of Canada.

I can only get that at the in-laws house (they live in Caribou, on the ME/NB line) so I think I will stay home if you understand my point.Hehehe.
I guess its just CBC for me then.

Whats the over/under for the time when the first fraudulent exit poll comes out showing liberals winning?
To: goldstategop
Actually, the BQ are more centre-left. They still have a lot of supporters from the Mulroney era (the Bloc started as a breakaway faction of the Tories' Québec wing and was founded by a Conservative Cabinet Minister).
