If they are not doing so already, the military should deploy unmanned Drones to patrol the areas around the pipelines.

ROFLMAO!!! I can see our double dog dare at them:
"I dare you, OBL, to terrorize the USA by beginning drilling in ANWR and sell us our own oil at 30 a barrel after you have done all the work!"
(But not before I buy it short first at 15)

"Look for the left to use this as another justification to curtail firearms rights."
Absolutely. These C...suckers will do anything to take guns away. Look for any proposed legislation in the next few days.

That's not such a far-fetched idea. CNN news conference on ELF/ALF terrorism is on now. Stating there are up to 20 arrests expected.
I could see jihadis recruiting these freaks.

Attacking oil and gas targets in the United States and other countries is key to bringing down the economy of the "American devils," Isn't this what the DemonRATs and environmental wackos have been doing for year?

"It also includes numerous errors, including a sentence saying the pipeline starts at the North Pole and ends at Valdez "on the Atlantic Ocean.""
From some of the things I've seen lately, this could have been written by any high school student in the U.S. Their knowledge of geography is just about as good.

The Transalaska Pipeline has been holed twice by rifle bullets. Once north of Fairbanks and once east of Fairbanks. If they want to try it again today, they want to be wearing their longjohns. It is 40 below.

Back when the Mad Cow disease scare was underway in Britian, Ingrid Newkirk, founder of PETA, said (paraphrase) she hoped it would spread to the U.S.
A relative of mine is on his state's Homeland Security committee, and he says the feds are looking hard at the possible recruitment of non Arabs to commit terror acts here in the U.S. I can see these ALF/ELF PETA types being easily recruited.

If they really wanted to strike terror..they'd take away Fat Teds beer. I doubt he's a beer drinker, his Daddy was a rum runner (and now he's a rummy, :) ) during prohibition. Only the best "stuff" for him.
