Sounds like he just wants the rest of the world to be unhappy, too!

Can't argue with the Bible.. it's a different thing if you can't have children, can't afford them because it's early on in the marriage or if one or both parties realize they are big huge screwups and shouldn't ever have children.

Ok, call me a SINNER.
I was married for 10 years and it just didn't happen!
But I will say this, single and childess white males get no special treatment as far as taxes are concerned. As a matter of fact we get punished for not having children and not being married.
Is this a great country or what? I mean what's left of it.

.......the Baptist leader added, We grow up by having children. Without that responsibility, we have a generation of perpetual adolescents just growing old." There is a certain amount of truth in that statement.

perpetual adolescents
That's what I wanted from my adulthood. It's because of that that I didn't have kids.

Yeah, well what would the dear man have to say if I had popped out 2 or 3 kids in the middle of my husbands 10-year drug abuse crisis? Then I would've been a selfish dumba$$.
I wish people would just shut up about it already. It's hard enough having been in a situation where having children was profoundly NOT the right choice, much less getting continually judged by jackasses like this guy and some of the people on this board.

I don't see that anywhere in the bible.
The original commandment given to Adam and Eve was to be fruitful and multiply and subdue the earth. Well, that's pretty much been done.
Better to spend time talking pregnant women out of having abortions than trying to make married couples procreate when they do not wish to do so.

Somehow I think this article is missing a big part of his statement. At least it seems so.
He does have a point, in that there are many people who are sexually active either within a marriage or outside of marriage - and the last thing they are thinking of is having a child. And, heaven forbid!, if they should conceive a baby, they then seek to get rid of it. Isn't this the problem in the western world, which is why Europe is being overrun with Moslems??????
