5th & Final Day of Hearings
This morning, the Senate Judiciary Cmte. convenes for a final session in the nomination hearings of Judge Samuel Alito. Outside witnesses who did not testify at yes- terday's hearings are given an opportunity to offer their opinions on the nominee. The Cmte. meets again to vote, either to approve or reject, on Tues., Jan. 17

This happened yesterday as well. I believe that this is part of the Democrats' "full press" strategy, leveraging the free air-time and sound-bites and creating momentum for the 2006 election. Hopefully, Rove and the rest of the team are planning the counterattack that will eviscerate those Democrats who operate at the same appalling level as Kennedy and Schumer.
I think I heard her on Laura Ingraham's show the other day. When she said she was having such a rough time raising her three children and so aborted her fourth child, I wondered why she didn't just kill her youngest child and that would have made her life even easier. /sarcasm I think these women could never admit they made a mistake. If so they would live with tremendous guilt or maybe they do already.

I think we need to watch this closely. The libs have tempted Fate one too many times. They seem unaware that this is not only Friday the 13th, but also a Full Moon. It's a perfect storm of insanity and bad luck. Playing out right before our eyes.
We'd be different nation if the REPUBLICAN party hadn't stood up for emancipation, Senator Kennedy.

Maybe the Dems could pry into Alito's video rentals.
My experience is that they do live with it and they fight so hard for it as to justify their decision when others do the same.
This woman had 3 daughters and her husband had deserted them when she found out she was pregnant (not sure if by the husband or not). She aborted this child. This is story I heard recently on some talk show.
Not sure.

Her hubby left her with 3 little girls and she found out she was pregnant....I don't know by whom.....so she wanted to kill that 4th baby and got humiliated because she had to ask deserter hubbys permission and some obscure panel somewhere asked her some questions.....whew. And yes, I think she did say she murdered that 4th baby.

It's actually the first time I've seen Chancellor Merkel for any great length of time.
No one cares anymore. As the witness said yesterday, it's game, set, match. Everyone knows Alito will be confirmed.

white (stike one)
male (strike two)
republican (strike three)
I predict only the following Dems will support Alito:
Ben Nelson
Robert Byrd
David Pryor (I believe that's Arkansas)
Maybe one of the North Dakota guys, too.
But that's it. Anyone else see any possibilities on the Dem side?

And, about hard it is for them to speak out like this against a nominee of the POTUS. LOL. They have no history of doing such a thing, of course.
