FReep 38 at Walter Reed, CODE PINK CAUGHT STEALING AND LYING, Jan 6 (Graphics, Join us Jan 13!)
DC Chapter ^ | January 13, 2006 | BillF with tgslTakoma, bmwcyle, and PleaDeal photos

Edited on 01/13/2006 8:53:57 AM PST by Sidebar Moderator. [history]

On Jan 6, the first FReep of the new year, we had a great turnout of FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond. It was too cold and windy to deploy the MOAB, Mother-of-all-Banners. This was FReep #38 as FReepers have countered the anti-troop hate group Code Pink at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center for 10 months now. Code Pink was videotaped stealing one of the FReepers' signs and then caught red-handed (pink-handed?) after lying straight-faced to a police officer.  This happened after a stunning and brilliant tactic devised by kristinn. The details are on this thread: Code Pink & Kevin McCarron Caught Pink-Handed Stealing Marine Parents' Sign at Walter Reed, but the basic story will also be included below. We were honored to be joined by the father and brother of Joshua Sparling, the war-wounded Walter Reed patient, who had received left-wing hate mail wishing for his death (see the multiple threads here). We were also honored to welcome a FReeper and his wife from Texas and her father from Italy.

Following a series of humiliating defeats inflicted upon them by the peaceful and lawful actions of FReepers, combined with their usual self-inflicted embarrassments, Code Pink has been stunned into virtual web silence about the vigil since mid-Nov. Unless they suddenly produce a slew of reports, Code Pink has published only one report (about Dec. 2) since their Nov. 18 report as you can see on their website: http://www.codepink4peace.org/article.php?list=type&type=81 (copy and paste the address at left into your browser to get there).  Code Pink is truly stuck in a quagmire as FReepers severely hinder the Pinkos' cynical attempts to manipulate severely wounded soldiers and relatives in hopes of finding those who will join the anti-war movement and break faith with the troops still fighting a ruthless enemy. Code Pink seems to be phasing out most of their participation in the protest and turning it over to other groups as the number of Code Pink women has diminished considerably. Maybe they followed our advice and swam to Cuba? They are safe from the sharks because the sharks know that the Pinkos are too bitter to bite.

We are winning our psych-op against the Pinkos and hindering their heartless psych-op against our war-wounded troops. Please join us this Friday, Jan. 13, at 6:30 pm per details below. Please also bump this thread to keep it on top. Stand up against the Pinkos who've endorsed "the Iraqi resistance" (as they call our enemy, see here and here), given money to the other side in Fallujah, and called our troops "killers" (search for the word "mothers" to get to the right location).  Then, the Pinkos demonstrate at the hospital and pretend that they support our troops.

Your new year will not be complete until you FReep the Pinkos at Walter Reed. Make a late New Year's Resolution to join us soon.

You don't need to cut down on your expenses, such as skimping on country club or yacht club fees or the big bucks that you spend on ammunition for target practice and self-defense, in order to keep the resolution. Just a couple hours on a Friday night. Be there for our troops, who faced snipers, IEDs, suicide bombers, and other dangers defending America in the War on Terror. The Pinkos may resolve to be even more despicable in 2006, but we can and will be there to counter their anti-troops, defeatist agenda.

Lifting the spirits of our war-wounded heroes is what we aim to do. If you live in the area, please join us. If you really can't join us due to work, family, or medical reasons or you don't live in the area, you can help in other ways by contacting Coop, Landry Fan, or PleaDeal by FReepmail for ideas.

The honor roll of those in attendance (lurkers are marked with an asterisk*):

Albion Wilde; Apple Blossom; beandog; Bill* from MD; bmwcyle; Christopher Lincoln; Concretebob; Coop; daughterofTGSL; Dustin10thMountain; Fraxinus; George* and Ethel* from MD; IraqiKurd; Joan from MD*; Joshua Sparling’s Father and Brother; Justanobody; Kristinn; Landry Fan; Leofl, his wife, Monica*, (from Texas!), and her father, Antonio* (from Italy!); Nina0113; Paltz; PleaDeal; tgslTakoma; Tom the Redhunter; trooprally [Mr. & Mrs.]; and BillF.

We had pizza, coffee, hot chocolate, and various snacks on site.

The event was so large that I can only present that part of the story that I saw. If you were there, please describe your own experiences at the FReep. Also, let me know if I publish your photo without your name or, worse, I mislabel you in a photo.

Opposed to our 31 patriots, the Pinkos managed to get at most 14 America-hating traitors and their well-meaning, but incredibly-misguided, dupes. The dupes do not realize that their Pinko organizers, who claim to support our troops,  called our troops "killers" (search for the word "mothers" to get to the right location), endorse "the Iraqi resistance" (those killing and wounding our troops, see here and here), and  have given money to "the other side" in Fallujah.

For months now, the Pinkos have also been illegally placing their banners on the Walter Reed fence, federal government (military) property. The military authorities have apparently been reluctant to enforce the law against political banners on military property, lest the Pinkos falsely paint military police as freedom-suppressing fascists.

Since the military was apparently waiving the enforcement of the law, FReepers have just as much right as hate-America traitors to place their banners on that military fence. kristinn came up with a outstanding plan to put such a banner on the fence and tgslTakoma and Mr. and Mrs. trooprally brilliantly implemented the plan.

The text of the sign, NO PROTEST ZONE- SOLDIERS HEALING, as shown on photo below, was influenced by a sign cynically used by the Pinkos. For months, they have used a QUIET ZONE SOLDIERS HEALING sign in a futile attempt to hide the cruelty of their blatant attempt to exploit war-wounded heroes for their twisted anti-American anti-military propaganda purposes. This QUIET ZONE sign was brought in when a much higher percentage of cars were honking to support us than were honking to support the Pinkos, even though we do not ask for honks and we are holding our action in the ultra-liberal bastion of Washington, DC. (Despite their QUIET sign, the Pinkos still continue to sing and play the guitar.)

Nina0113 and Mr. trooprally stand next to the sign
well before the Pinkos' arrival. The sign is where the
Pinkos usually put their banner.

Small lettering on the sign identifies it as the property of
Mr. and Mrs. trooprally.

Pinko Comrade Bruce Wolf peruses the sign, after
rushing his car into a parking space, apparently having
reacted with anger upon seeing the sign.

Pinko Princess in his skirt, Kevin "Maimed for a Lie"
McCarron, and the Whiny Weasel try to figure out how to
cover the FReeper sign with their own. Not since Moe,
Larry, and Curly
disbanded has there been such an
assembly of brainpower. The Pinko eunuchs failed
miserably, just like the Pinkos are failing in their cruel
mission of rubbing salt into the wounds of war heroes.

Whiny Weasel hands knife to Maimed McCarron.

Despite their laughably false, constant claim that they support the troops, the Pinkos apparently decided that the rights of the parents of a Marine (Mr. and Mrs. trooprally) were not to be recognized as Pinkos were videotaped taking down and stealing the trooprallys' sign.

We knew before that the Pinkos were traitors and liars, but they added thieves to their personal descriptions. They could have just turned the sign backwards (i.e., no lettering visible) and left it in down on the ground or against the fence with lettering away from traffic. But no, they spirited it away and put it in Comrade Bruce Wolf's car per details below as quoted from tgslTakoma's great blog account:

A little guy we nicknamed "Weasel" handed Kevin "Maimed For A Lie" McCarron a knife.

McCarron (of Veterans for Peace) then proceeded to cut down the sign with Weasel's knife, handing it back to him and then folding up the sign and walking off with it.

Bruce Wolf's wife, a professional storyteller (I'm not making this up) then handed her hubby their car keys, and Bruce (of OPEIU Local 2) opened the car so McCarron could finalize the theft of the sign.

McCarron placed the sign in the vehicle and Bruce Wolf shut the car door and dutifully locked the car up. They apparently know that theft is a problem in that neighborhood in DC.

Now here's where it gets interesting.

We had a video camera rolling. And you can watch the scene unfold by choosing any of the following links...

Special thanks to Freeper "Spiff" and Jim Robinson, for getting this video online for me.

Lite Version of same clip, 1.9megs

tgslTakoma then called the police. An officer (photo left above) then came out, listened to the story, and then walked to the Pinko side with tgslTakoma and Mr. trooprally.

Police officer, tgslTakoma (red jacket, facing away from

trooprally

Basically, the Pinkos lied straight-faced to the officer (what a surprise, not!), denying any knowledge of the sign that they put into Pinko Bruce Wolf's car. Details are in the linked blog of tgslTakoma, but the Pinkos hesitated to produce the sign even after she showed the officer her video of them taking the sign.

The officer told the Pinkos that the matter would get much more serious if they didn't cough up the stolen sign. They gave it back and tgslTakoma announced that she wanted to put it back where it was, despite the fact that the Pinkos now had their banner placed there.

The officer declined tgslTakoma's request to return her sign to the fence, but  asked the Pinkos to take their banner off the fence, which they did as Pink Hat Lady announced it was only "for the evening."

Thus, the Pinkos started the evening caught on tape violating the rights of others and stealing, and then got nailed blatantly lying to a police officer. A lot of pink panties were bunched up on their side and I don't just mean the few, and decreasing weekly, number of women in the obscene blood dance.

They rescheduled a trip to DC to make sure they were

made them miss the FReep). Can't you find your way to
join us, especially if you live in the area?

The Father and Brother of Joshua Sparling joined us and thanked us for being there for Joshua and the other wounded troops. We asked that they pass along our thanks to Joshua for his service and we thanked them for their own sacrifices for our country. We know that the families and loved ones of all our troops carry part of the burden, and that is especially true when their relative or loved one is injured or killed.

and singing

Mr. Sparling (wearing black cowboy hat) gives the Pinkos a piece of his mind.

Mr. Sparling, at far left, confronts other Pinkos to tell them that his wounded son does NOT appreciate the protest
at the hospital.

Whiny Weasel at right in above photo, who had tried to give up cigarettes weeks ago, was smoking like a chimney. BTW, Gael Murphy, who was a no show again with the weather being cold, was seen smoking a cigarette the night before when we saw her at the Moran-Murtha Townhall Meeting. Don't they realize how much tobacco money goes to the GOP? Anyway, thanks for the help Weasel and the evil Murph.

A highlight of evening usually occurs after the Pinkos are mostly gone, but the bus of wounded heroes returned from a free meal at Fran O'Brien's, a fancy DC restaurant, early on this night.. Most Pinkos were still there, albeit with their signs as down as much as their depleted spirits. The bus driver turned on the light in the bus and mutual cheers and waves went between the troops and the patriots.

Let's help our wounded heroes maintain a positive attitude.  We absolutely must keep the pressure on Code Pink and keep showing the wounded troops at Walter Reed that Code Pink doesn't speak for the nation. If you live in the DC area and haven't yet come out for one of these FReeps, please do so this next Friday. Injured Walter Reed patients, including amputees, and their families have repeatedly told us how important it is for us to be there to counter Code Pink and their ugly anti-troops agenda.

If we can sufficiently outnumber the leftists often enough, embarrassment may cause the leftists to stop these outrageous morale-damaging ("Maimed for a lie" was one of their commonly-used signs) demonstrations at the hospital. If some are immune to embarrassment, and, at the very least, we can hinder their psychological warfare operation against the wounded troops. What about you? Can you spare a few hours on a Friday night?

Can you give up next Friday night at the movies to support troops who've given up limbs for your freedoms? Will you?

This FReep is rewarding, fun, and important for our troops and our nation.

(I finished this too late to get this proofread by Landry Fan. It was a busy week.)

It's not like we had someone hiding in the bushes videotaping this theft. We had about 15 of us on our side of the street before the treasonous scumbags appeared at the crime scene. There must have been three or four different tripods with mounted cameras out in full view, where we assemble each week. And these nimrods still felt like lying to a law enforcement officer was a good idea.

Worth repeating!!

FReepers have more cameras per capita than Pinkos have brain cells.

Actually, Mr. Trooprally, the tall dame with the floppy hat (Kristinn has dubbed her "Large Marge") is not Bruce Wolf's wife.

The short, dark-haired gal with the Janeane Garofalo eyeglasses is Bruce's wife/SO. She's the one who asked who the parents of the Marine were, who had placed the sign and note on the fence.

The look on her face when you stepped up and said, "I'm the father of the Marine," was priceless! She had nothing to say when you spoke up. Great idea for putting the note on the sign, Mr. and Mrs. T!

The Code PinkOs actions last Friday night shows just how little regard they have for anyone else's civil rights, including military families.

Basil, you have a lot of other things to worry about right now... your new twin grandbaby boys (who have gorgeous red hair), their big sister and their mom and dad. When they are all happy and healthy at home, then you can worry about coming to join us. Family comes first. Until then, we'll save a spot for you.

:-)
