I think "The Dumbercrats" has a nice ring to it...

The chances of Dumbercrats wising up: Zero. And thank God for the Dims' collective stupidity.

The only reason I am commenting on this thread is because the name of it is down right nifty.

Another key element is Bush needs to get out in front of the tv public more and push home the "we haven't had another attack BECAUSE we've been listening and watching these possible terrorists and keeping them from carrying out plans with one another" That says IT ALL! NO ONE wants a repeat of 9/11 and the democrats sure aren't going to stand up and protect us - heck, they can't even identify who the enemy is and they're too busy protecting Joe Jihad from "torturous methods" by the evil Bush administration.

Great post, and their idiotic performance during the Alito hearings will not be forgotten either!

I prefer "communist traitors", but it's easier to type "RATS".

Since average Americans would readily agree to have their phones tapped if it helped in the war on terrorism, they certainly have no problem with intercepted phone conversations involving possible terrorists. Even here in the liberal bastion of NYC, in October 2005 when there was a potential terrorist threat and the city deployed cops to randomly search bags being brought on the subway and busses, throngs of riders volunteered their bags to be searched ... volunteered !!!
It seems that everybody on the street here cares about civil safety except for their Dumbocrap politician masters ....

...And then they send out their most repulsive butt boy to verbally abuse a fine gentleman so badly that it reduces the gentleman's wife to tears.
Soros and Lewis couldn't do a worse job of screwing up that "progressive" party if they tried.
It's really laughable.

I agree with the editorial and would add in the probable continuation of the Iraq mess for at least another year, thus keeping it THE hot issue, one the Dims cannot win on.

Dangit, even the folks who are with us think history started in 1990. 2,000+ in almost three years ain't bad at all considering.....

Count on you to stoke the anti-administration fires.
"What is going to save the Republicans this year?"
How about a Democrat Party that borders on treason in virtually every successive stupid thing they do?
Be aprised that all years are "off years" for that ilk.
They are finished.

Most of the really smart people have left the party of no ideas. The party that will tell any shameless lie. The party of low morals and no class. And have left it a party full of low IQs and little understanding of the real world.
Dumbercrats fits them nicely.

I believe the dems are going to continue doing what they always do - overreach. They just gave a steller performance at the Alito hearings.

The thing I worry about is that the democrats have so damaged their credibility that they no longer provide a healthy opposition.
Just how quickly will our politicians adapt to a situation where they have no credible, loyal opposition to keep them honest?

Some have suggested "Defeatocrats", but I prefer a contraction of that:
"Defecrats".
