RICHMOND, Va. - New DNA tests confirmed the guilt of a man who went to his death in Virginia's electric chair in 1992 proclaiming his innocence, the governor said Thursday.

The case had been closely watched by both sides in the death penalty debate because no executed convict in the United States has ever been exonerated by scientific testing.

The Liberals were hoping, praying, that an Innocent man was put to death.

Can you imagine waking up everyday and hoping for the worst for your Society?

I think it was worth doing. Even this long after the fact, it's good to know the penalty was correctly applied. I'm pro-death-penalty, and I do want it to be done accurately.

"...because no executed convict in the United States has ever been exonerated by scientific testing."

But, but...the MSM & Hollyweird tell us often that those on Death Row are more than likely innocent of their crimes!

For once, tonight, I'm going to watch the MSM.
Maybe NBC, maybe CBS.
I will count the minutes until this is reported.
But, I won't be holding my breath.

How much longer will we allow this barbaric act of executing people who are guilty of the crime they were accused of?

Oh. He was guilty?

OK.

Nope. That's why I am here with you guys, now.

Way back when, I figured the Donks were the engine for positive social change. But that was waaaaay back, and I was pretty stupid, then.

What concerned me about this case was the sample had been held by a private lab for all those years and the chances for mischief were huge. Glad to see my fears were misplaced.

Wolf Blitzer was on CNN yesterday saying stuff like "oh no, what if we executed an innocent man" and "if he is innocent, will it be time for the U.S. to reexamine the death penalty?" I imagine he and the liberals at CNN are deeply saddened by this news.
