I think Cspan callers are scams.

Think what you like, but they're not.

Is there a decent chance that Alito can be sworn in before the State of the Union address? Does anyone know the date of the State of the Union address?

Short answer, of course, is no.

I am sure Mr. Sam will be more expansive in educationg the big dummies. Sheesh

"I think Cspan callers are scams."

I don't know about that. Two callers after yesterday's session brought up Mary Jo and one suggested Kennedy should be in prison rather than in the Senate.

Does anyone know who the woman is sitting next to Mrs. Alito? The one whom it appeared to advise Mrs. Alito to leave yesterday........

Dear Senator Kohl,

I believe we should have age limits for Senators.

Great on Alito's part

Alito: If the founders had wanted judges to make decisions based on public opinion, they would have made them elected. But lots of decisions lie in the political branches so people can have control over their destinies. Soveriegnty lies in the people.

You're right. They're not scams.

Half of the callers are Democrats and the other half are Democrats pretending to be Republicans.

CSpan is always on the up and up, doncha know.....

Why do the Dems think that arrogance and a slimy character (Schumer and Biden) are winning attributes to office. They should ask Kerry because he'll tell them it doesn't always work.

>As he makes his case to serve on the nation's Supreme Court, what is the most important question you think Samuel Alito should answer?

Thanks for the heads up. Here is the question I sent:

Do you find it ironic that a man who got kicked out of Harvard for cheating, and then later left a woman to drown in four feet of water yet didn't report it until much later would have the effrontery to lecture you on ethics?
