Day 4: Hearing Resumes
This morning, Senators will question Judge Alito during a third round. They will then go into a closed session, to review the FBI background investigation on the Supreme Court nominee. Outside witnesses may be called to testify this afternoon, as well as the American Bar Association, to discuss its recommendations.

YAY!! I can now sleep peacefully .. thank you, Judge Ruggero Aldisert! I was praying, especially when TheSlobSwimmer was berating him about discrimination and civil rights, that Alito would simply say:
Sir, I'm an Italian, my father came over here from the old country. Do I have to tell you how Italians were discriminated against and still are subject to discriminatory labels in America?

This has me thinking that this has all been a show for the Democrats. They acted like j*rkoffs to satisfy their base, did their best to look like they really opposed this guy, etc, etc.. but the testimony of these judges will be their excuse not to Fillibuster the nomination. The Republicans knew this all along and went along with the show.
I mean, seriously, after this testimony from the judges, how can you not vote for this guy, much less fillibuster him?
