Judge Samuel A. Alito’s wife Martha left the confirmation hearing room in tears this evening, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) apologized to the Judge’s family for the behavior of his fellow committee members during the course of the last three days.

Sen. Graham said: “Judge Alito, I am sorry that you’ve had to go through this. I am sorry that your family has had to sit here and listen to this.”

Democrats on the Judiciary Committee have attacked Judge Samuel A. Alito over his membership in Concerned Alumni of Princeton and his involvement in the Vanguard case.

One senior Republican in the hearing room said of the situation: “After three full days of attacks against her husband’s character, Mrs. Alito had enough. Democrat behavior during this hearing has not only been wrong, it’s been embarrassing. Ted Kennedy is nothing but a bully.”

Don't lump all soccer moms into one basket...there are a few of us who are pretty bright!

Exceptions to the rule. Look how many vote for the Dimwit candidates as long as it is "for the children." They'd vote to re-elect Bill Clinton today despite his known history of using and abusing women. The votes are emotional...not rational. As I stated, there are exceptions to the rule...but most soccer moms I've encountered vote based on 'feelings' not logic.

I admire a woman who can be so passionate about her husband that she cries when he is being attacked. She must be a really loving wife.

The irony that Ted Kennedy got away with manslaughter sits on the Senate Judiciary committee is not lost on anyone except for the most moonbat democrat.

That's a heavy burden to carry for so long. The fact that his entire life is a barely concealed joke explains why he's so bitter. Just imagine what it must be like sitting there in the Senate, year after year, thinking, "I could have been President", and downing shot after shot to make the bad memories go away. I'm sure he's every bit as miserable as he looks.

I don't wish him ill, but I'm certainly not going to pray that Kennedy will find a donor match for his liver transplant.

Tough to control my anger on this one.

Why, oh why, does this guy (and the rest of his ilk) have place in government?

I watched some of the hearing today. Feinstein's fixation on abortion brought the ugliness of the Democrat party into sharp relief against the frank reasonableness of Alito.

I watched a little of that little POS - Schumer. Schumer reminds me of that one guy in the bar that strikes you as someone who needs a good ass whipping.

Another reason I could never be a politician, the first time one of them made my wife cry it would be the last time it would happen.

Mrs. Alito sat up too close to the front and got a good look at SMELL of Kennedy's ALCOHOLOL Breath and started puking in a napkin and ran out of the room

You are so right, never have I seen the Dems so unable to see how bad they sound.

But, the public never sees them, they are protected by their MSM masters.

Which fully surpasses his cousin who rapes first then kills them with a stolen golf club.

As much as I despise Fat Ted, Michael Skakel is Fat Ted's brother's wife's brother's son, so is no relation to Fat Ted.

I do not understand your post.
The wife of the guy being creamed is not to have emotions.
If it were my husband, I'd be over the bench grabbing that idiot Kennedy by the throat.

I gotta tell you, these bloviators really disgust me. You just know, if they were on the other side of the table they would melt like butter in a hot Arizona sun.

Joe "the plagiarizer" Biden
