Grassley saying the charges against Alito by the left wing groups are absurd He's right. They are. And bringing up stupid charges wastes time - but I have to admit it does score political points. Lots of peole can't think deeper than a feel-good sound bite.

Am sorry to hear that. Hope it goes away soon.
Have to go; I will hope to read the transcript of this later. I like Alito.

Not a hangover....he's lost his gray matter. Dementia=Deterioration of intellectual faculties, such as memory, concentration, and judgment, resulting from an organic disease or a disorder of the brain. It is sometimes accompanied by emotional disturbance and personality changes.

They did that all yesterday.
They'd show the dimocrap speech on, then when the republican came on, they'd cut back to their 'legal panel' to discuss the dimocrap talking points.
Maybe they'd cut back in for a sentence or two, and they would not cut away for all republicans, but the bias was obvious in the ratio of times they would compared to the other side.
Such calls are the responsibility of the Producer / Director. And this is the place that couldn't explain how some of the production staff would think its 'funny' to make a point and broadcast big X's over the VP during speeches.

Alito is answering these questions concisely and very well. He is obviously a strict constitutionalist.

Grassley is doing well.

Actually that is 29 minutes allotted to each Senator for trashing the candidate in a spiteful, juvevillesque name calling put down diatribe, with one minute for asking some asinine question that the Senator hopes the candidate will appear inept in answering.
It's like a grammar school roast, with the class clowns roasting the honor student.
