If a strict constructionist is someone who doesn't make anything up that I am one of them, yes.

"I think Graham is showboating." As always, and building up his buddy McCain as well.
To: Bahbah
I don't like this questioning. He's taking this hearing in the completely wrong direction.

I'm not a Graham fan in general, and this just reinforces my opinion of him. Give me Cornyn or Hatch any day. At least Graham livened things up a bit. It was a real snooze-fest there for awhile.

She's great.
Did you happen to see her today on Fox? The girl is so very beautiful, intelligent, and personable. It is one unbelievable combination. And she interviews extremely well. It's almost too good to be true.
Really.

GREAT LINE! These two are having the BEST exchange...
I am learning- and I am seeing the REPUB response that SHOULD be touted- while seeing Alito be the coo-headed man he needs to be...
It is like watching good cop- bad cop!

I usually don't like Graham. I think he's a pu$$y sometimes but he's actually doing something very smart here. So far, I like it.

Oh, I see now. I wasn't aware of his proposed legislation. I don't think I would like it either, especially if McCain has his hands in it.

Graham wants to advance the proposition that, if he and McCain get their legislation, the President's hands are tied. Sort of. I'll have to read the transcript because Graham is going pretty fast - but sometimes he is arguing for Presidential power, other times for Congressional power. Lost in that is how to balance rights of enemy (zero) with rights of civilians - who will say how much civilian right will be impinged? Will there be oversight?
Graham has valid concerns, FWIW, but this is a crappy way to air them.
To: Lizarde
UGGH this is pathetic performance by Lindsey Graham ... even more so than his appearance right before on Sean Hannity
To: Lizarde
over interprete the resolution????
That sounded like a shot at the President to me.
