If your dog isn't going to eat it's food so bad that you have to intice it with gravy, then you know something is wrong. WTF is wrong with these people?

I have two cats. I stick with Purina and Whiskas. As a vanity, do any Siamese Cat owners on FR know whether Royal Canin's Siamese 38 formula is worth the extra money? Thanks. I feed my children nothing but the best.

I am a bit suspicious of the over-100 number here (think Katrina deaths, initial WTC-death estimates, etc.) and the hysterical tone of the article, but making sure you are not feeding your pet food from a contaminated batch is commonsense. (IIRC, some cat food was contaminated too; thus, this ping.)

My BC has been eating this for the better part of her senior life. So far, after one knee surgery, and at age 12, she's healthing and still chasing her frisbee

Science Diet and Hills. If it is good enough for my military dogs, its good enough for my pets. Hill's has a great number of Me too brands but I will stick with Hill's, the Mark Morris Foundation and Science Diet. There are of a great many that try to take a piece of their market but very few have the integrity and experience of Hill's.

My normally nonstop dynamo of a dog was uncharacteristically sluggish and trembling from head to toe yesterday. I was aware of the recall and had not been feeding him anything but his usual fair but I took him to see the vet anyway. Turns out he has a stomach virus. The vet gave me a few things for him and he appears to be on the way to being his old self.

I have two dogs and neither have ever eaten "dog food." Whatever the family is having for dinner is what the dogs eat...leftover meat, veggies, bread, beer. Also, during deer season, we toss the carcasses to the dogs after trimming off the tenderloin. They gnaw on it for days.

Has Harry Reid called a Press Conference yet?

The Bush Administration must be investigated for this!

The number of people in this country who NEVER watch or read news is frightening! You get a big 'huh?' when you mention things you think are common knowledge.
I met people, here in New Orleans, who didn't know Katrina was coming on that Saturday!
