Hair I Don't have a link but...
My local paper here on the Oregon Coast reminds us that after a storm do not mix with the beach/stream water for at least two days due to bacteria that can lead to GI and other bugs.
Does this effect our pets too?
One would think.

This is tragic. My dear little Tootie a Jack Russell, 1 1/2 years old, died from an aflatoxin last March. It was not an easy death and she struggled for 3 weeks to survive as her liver was destroyed. She didn't get it from this dog food, it is a naturally occurring poison and it was something she ate in the back yard that was moldy. I am still heart broken over losing her even tho have replaced her with her full sister from a litter that was born 3 days before she died. Her name is Cookie and she is very much like Tootie.

A co-worker had to put his dog down last week as a result of this dog food. He plans to submit all medical bills to Diamond Foods but is heart broken over losing his 'best friend'.
