I have two cats. I stick with Purina and Whiskas. As a vanity, do any Siamese Cat owners on FR know whether Royal Canin's Siamese 38 formula is worth the extra money? Thanks. I feed my children nothing but the best.

I wouldn't classify Purina or Whiskas as 'the best'. They are as corn-based as any of the grocery store brands... The key is whether your animals seem to thrive on them. This could happen to any commercial food.

Re: Royal Canin Siamese 38 food. I feed it to my Tonkinese. He loves it, and he's fit and his coat is shiny. Commercial food leaves his coat dull, plus he eats a lot more of it so I find there's little cost savings between buying the cheaper commercial food and the more expensive Royal Canin.
