Tonights Flyby the incomprable Lockheed Constellation. IMNSHO one of the few aircraft that looks like it cruisin at 350knots while sitting on the ramp!!!
First up a Navy WC-121 from 1967
Next up a Connie in MATS colors
Our thirds pic is a Connie that works the European Skies as the "Star Of Switzerland"
The Forth Connie is from the land of OZ and works the airshow circut Down Under
Last but not least a night shot of the "Save a Connie" Aircraft. IIRC this pic was taken at the Oshkosh Show two years ago.

I LOVE, love, love, love, LOVE marching bands.
Gosh I had so much fun watching the Rose Bowl parade. So impressed with the bands. Hundreds of kids (they are kids, who else has the energy?) marching and playing.
This is an art form that is seriously overlooked. Of course the Marines were the best. Our military, for all the other totally more important and great stuff they do, also has some of the best music going. The demand for excellence is ever present.
God bless all our troops, singing, playing, and otherwise. I guess esp. those like me, who sing despite all good advice not to!

Solly has let strangers pet her over the fence.
Her big asset is a bark that makes leaves on the tree's tremble.
Jackie doesn't like anyone but me and Mr. Taz, Good barker and she would be likely to go after someone trying to come in.

Thanks for your Friday night gift to us of some of America's awesome aircraft. As the wife of a former Air Force Sgt and the mom of a current Air Force Captain, I just love them all!
