Not a big fan but am shocked by his loss nonetheless. Prayers going up for him and his family.
47 is too young. My mother in law came up to our house and had an asthma attack that led to a minor heart attack. Asthma is not something to screw around with. It breaks my heart to see young kids with a bad case of it.

Sad News, LVD. I'm a very infrequent listener to his show, but I've always been in the "paranormal" camp of personality and have appreciated his work. I know he was a man with the luckiest situation in the world - in love with a good woman who loved him back.
Prayers for Art, y'all!

Art kept me entertained during many sleepless nights years ago, and I remember him mentioning often how much Ramona was such a huge part of his life. Romona was my age. She was WAY too young. This is sad. Condolences to Art, his family and friends.

I remember him talking about the big wooden alien Rush Limbaugh sent him. That was funny! I also count myself privileged to have been listening the night Art accidentally super-glued his lips togther! That was great radio!

Why is he a jerk?
Even a mild allergy to cat dander, mixed with a bad asthma attack could have very well been a cause of death! Look at that poor teenage girl who died recently from her peanut allergy because she kissed her boyfriend who had eaten peanuts sometime earlier.
Sounds like you may be the uninformed one in this discussion!

Heard last night. She was very pleasant, had a smooth broadcast voice. Lew Rawls, also with a smooth voice, died today too. The new year is off to a bad start.

Didn't he also lose a child in the past couple of years?

Never take your sweetheart for granted! 47 is just too young to go. Condolences to Mr. Bell. Very sad.Ramona's sudden passing is a real wakeup call for me. My wife is the same age and no woman in her family has lived past age 59. That history goes back to 1423.
Art and Ramona were finally getting to enjoy the fruits of many years of hard work. Life just isn't fair.

My son was a faithful listener and once in a while I'd be walking by his room and Art would say something that would make me stop and listen. His show was very entertaining!
I hope you're sleeping better these days! :)

Well let's just hope she breaks that "tradition"! In the meantime you better show her how much she means to you every day! Hopefully she will do the same for you too! :)
May you both live long and prosper!

Art's son was abused by a teacher a few years back. Terrible thing and one of the reasons he left radio the first time.
