On January 4, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. (PST) the Rose Bowl Game will host the BCS National Championship, between USC and Texas once again showcasing the best of collegiate football in "The Granddaddy of Them All."® The Rose Bowl will be broadcast exclusively on ABC and on ESPN radio.
Looks like it hugh. So much for the pre-game smack-talk about Texas having a superior defense.

2 three and outs, one given to USC because of a penalty and the other was given back by a turnover, and now they just stopped USC. Tell me again Texas hasnt stopped anybody,
I still think Texas has the better defense when compared to USC, but right now USC has shown itself to be better on offense. Better to the point that the advantage Texas has on defense has been neutralized

Grudgingly I say contratulations OSU! The bowl situation has gotten so far our of hand, there is no way that any team with 3 or 4 losses belongs in any bowl (Yes, that means U of M too!)
2 BCS contenders should be chosen before their ultimate bowl games are played. If they win then they play the BCS 2 weeks after the last scheduled bowl game. If they lose then the contenders should be re-evaluated and rechosen if need be........
The best college football duo on television today and they do an outstanding job announcing weekday ESPN games.
