>I think I understand why they did that. They interviewed those two because they were leaving the field, while the Texas guys were getting ready for the trophy presentation<

I think they did it because they fully expected USC to win. They were already on the USC sideline when the game ended. They didn't have time to cross the field and search out Coach Brown or Young. Any PAC-10 team will always be treated as a home team in the Rose Bowl.

Do you not just love Tank Johnson? He's my favorite.

I agree, outside of Ohio State, there was only one defensive unit better than them and they played last night. It would have been interesting to see if Texas could have moved the ball against Penn State. Good thing there is not a playoff.

Nope he must go pro, as a Husker fan its an imperitive I steer him in the right direction so that my team has a chance next year.

The stupid and senile officals watched the replay and called it INCOMLETE

I disagree. I didn't think he had the ball. I thought that the replay cleared that all up.

Well, I was just too lazy to run from the living room to the bedroom to post....the game was just too exciting.

Another good example would be Farve this year. The Packers have had a decimated O line. Same with the Vikings.

Quarterbacks thrive on good O Lines. Just look at Aikman's O line in the golden years of Dallas

Greed got the better of him on that botched lateral.

He looked pretty good on that leaping TD run.

No tears for this guy.

I'm not impressed how Matt Leinhart has handled himself in his post-interviews. Sounds like a sore loser.

Well, he will get drafted by either the Saints or the Jets, so he needs to practice. IMO, he is a slightly above average college QB with incredibly talented offensive skill players to benefit from. He won't have Reggie pushing him into endzones as a backup in the NFL.

I root for A&M anytime they aren't playing Texas, TCU, or Houston(sometimes) or Texas Tech (whichever one is higher ranked with the best chance at a bowl.) Texans should stick together.

I'm never impressed with running backs, in my mind they are a dime a dozen, the o-line makes the good ones great. That being said I would burn a draft pick on White, he is a NFL style back. No matter what , you are going to be a good percentage of these guys playing on Sunday.

Two GREAT championships, no doubt.

Well the OSU-Miami game was a great one and then just two seasons later, a 13-0 Auburn team got shut out of the BCS. They didn't even get to "share" the championship like USC did.

Amazing the difference in the quality of the level of football after you go past the #1 and #2 teams. Yes I enjoyed Penn State winning the Orange Bowl and getting the #3 berth, but even a PSU fan like me has to admit that their play didn't match the level of performance of Texas and USC.
