On January 4, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. (PST) the Rose Bowl Game will host the BCS National Championship, between USC and Texas once again showcasing the best of collegiate football in "The Granddaddy of Them All."® The Rose Bowl will be broadcast exclusively on ABC and on ESPN radio.
Anyone getting sick of the blatant pro-USC bias of these announcers? Texas defensive backs give such good coverage on USC receivers that Leinart is forced to run out of bounds, and all we hear is how brilliant Leinart is not to throw the ball. Choke me with a shovel!
In addition, the CEO's at Halliburton have all bet on the game becaue they already know the final score.
Funny, I highly doubt Brown is a Democrat.
But who were they coming back on? The decision to go to a no huddle offense was key to the turnaround.
"You don't understand the rule. If you catch in the air, but land on the ground and drop it, it's incomplete. THAT'S THE RULE. I'd study the rulebook, if I were you."
The ground cannot cause a fumble. So said by the sportscasters here.
It's the national championship in front of a huge nationwide audience and the Trojan band chooses to play a lame Michael Jackson song? How inane!
You don't know what you're talking about. In the pros if you don't maintain possession while coming down to the ground after being airborne, it's an incomplete pass. The same should be true in college.
Pansy.
Didn't know this thread was here and there are over 1300 posts! Yikes. Oh well, I'm "in before the win."
I'm doing my Sooner best. Drinking my Dr Pepper with an orange straw. That is the VERY BEST that I can possibly do. I am playing a Boomer Sooner for each score by Them. How's that? I willed them that T they didn't deserve, but I did NOT jinx that missed PAT attempt!
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
But which enemy is the lesser evil?
I don't know, but their band is grabbing their collective crotches right now.
I didn't say fumble, I said INCOMPLETE PASS.
If Texas is winning -- It's Bush's fault.
If Texas is losing -- It's Bush's fault.
BS I just checked on it.
Settle down, relax and "Mute" the TV. The players are settled down after the first half and this could turn into a good ol' country ballgame. Remember, all the ex-spurts are just that.
LOL!
Yep, statistics are dangerous in the hands of the incompetent. Last weekend the announcing just kept going on about the Colts and how no team has ever lost three games in a row and won the Superbowl. Well, not too many teams have home field advantage wrapped up after 13 weeks.
the choreography was neat but yeah they could have picked a better song that's for sure...
Did you just see the band do a Michael Jackson type grab themselves?
