Hi.
Had to work today, but got home 7pm PDT. I'm nearly back to normal and suuuuuuuuper happy to be home. The job from hell is done and over.
My excitement tonite will be TV and FR. Thanks for the ping.
I have done that a few times when posting the dose LOL
Nice buns!
I must ask a stupid question, how does one know when kraut is done.
I always thought it was already done and just needed to be heated.
Thanks for the pep talk Carlo. My state just banned smoking from almost anywhere you can think of, but that just makes me mad. I hope I quit before I HAVE to. I did quit once before, quite a few years ago. The first thing I wanted was a cigarette.......the minute I got out of the delivery room, and I've been smoking ever since. Happy New Year.
Sauerkraut just out of a can or package is totally bland and without character. It needs to slow cook with meat to reach its full potential.
OH...good, I am so glad you are home...at least you can bring in the New Year with your loved ones..
and your friends here on FR!!!
I have had the Giants/Raiders game on (muted) while listening to music and freeping..
At one point it was a total runaway by the Giants..and then I looked up and the Raiders are making it a much closer game..
MY Cowboys, though, need the Eagles to beat the Redskins, or the Falcons to beat the Panthers...PLUS, win their game with St. Louis.
Ohmygosh! You just reminded me of "Bubbles and Squeak" - rolled "balls" of mashed potatoes, with sauerkraut woven inside. I first ate them in Simpson's on the Strand - a wonderful restaurant in London. My mouth is watering and you've inspired me to attempt a copy ASAP!
Okey Dokey then. Makes total sense to me as you explain it. I have your recipe saved and will give it a try soon.
Went to the store yesterday to get the makins for Kimchi and they were out of the Napa Cabbage so I bought some kraut.
I love your list.
My wife and I have been celebrating this wonderful season with our kids and Grandkids.
God has blessed us in 2005 and we pray that He will bless the world in 2006. May He grant us all peace and prosperity and most of all may He bring all to a saving knowledge of His awesome work on the cross.
May God Bless all of YOU in 2006.
Kevin and Kim
Kimchi is actually easier to just buy in a jar at the supermarket and it's pretty good, too. Great with yellow rice.
You know, it's the last 750 that are the toughest. LOL.
bah; a day like any other. The only thing different is the date on the calendar. Why wait til it changes to make changes...
Nothing new under the sun.
NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
That is some vile stuff, at least all I have had.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE FROM THE BEAUTIFUL BLUE RIDGE!
My goal for 2006 is to learn how to do the Texas Two-Step and to learn how to invest my IRA money in a better place.
God bless America and all y'all Freepers!
Dick Clark was just on the New Year's Eve Show. Bless his heart. He explained about his stroke and was very understandable, said he had to learn to talk all over again. Sounds a little better than Kirk Douglas. Looks good, of course. Let's get this show on the road!
