Welcome to our New Years Music Celebration!
Thank you for joining us this evening!!
To all of our Troops around the world:

~ Happy New Years ~

Dedicated To America's *Greatest Generation*
During WWII, many of America's greatest musicians helped the war effort by making V-disks for our GIs away from home. Tonight we share some of them with you. Some of the music is tremendously old and a few are from WWI. If you have a chance, please listen. You won't regret it. Keep in mind, this music is worth preserving for the future American generations that will continue our fight against terrorism!
These are the original recordings. More info here.

You want a list? I rode several.

( Conventional diesel boats )
Trumpetfish, ( Charleston )
Requin, ( Norfolk )

( Nuke fast attack boats )
Haddo, ( Charleston )
Pollack, ( Charleston )

Two other fast attack boats out of Charleston whose names I do not remember right now. The last year I was moving from one boat to another as one got into port and the other was leaving. I actually volunteered for that. Shows you how smart I am. :-)

I'm glad I missed it then.

I don't like "never bringing old friends to mind".
