LYON, France - The international police organization Interpol said on Wednesday it had issued a worldwide arrest warrant for Abu Musab Al Zarqawi, who is wanted in several countries for attacks he allegedly carried out for the Al Qaeda terrorist organisation.
The so-called Red Notice was issued at the request of Algeria, which wants Zarqawi arrested in connection with the kidnap and murder of two Algerian diplomats in Iraq in July 2005.
The head of Al Qaeda operations in Iraq, Zarqawi is also wanted by police in Germany for his part in a number of terrorist offenses and is sought by Jordanian authorities for several terrorist attacks, including the November bombings in the capital Amman that killed more than 50 people.
al Zarqawi would do better to turn himself into the EU than to take his chances with the US. He'll get the death penalty if we get our hands on him.
I think Interpol wants to out-stage the US after we did the majority of the work.
He will be caught one way or another and that is why it is called Global War On Terror!
BTW, this is a bit late but still good and may limit his access to the outside world and tie the hands of those countries (iran or syria in this case) to help him
Finally!Z's days are numbered. With the Interpol sleuths on his tail it won't be long now!
This may be true, but intelligent people realize it for what it is - an international admission that the Coalition is on the right side of history in Iraq. Too bad that most journalists don't fall into that category.
"people realize it for what it is - an international admission that the Coalition is on the right side of history"
Doubtful....More like they want to get their hands on him first and KEEP the US from getting our hands on him.
Captain Dreyfus will get his best man on it!
Inspector Clousseau will determine if he has a lissance for his minkey.
Wow - that was fast.
Good work Interpol, I'm sure you got his attention.
Glad to see Interpol's aggressive stance on this - only about 3 years late.
Thanks! I needed a good laugh this morning, because interpol is a real joke. Better watch out Zarqawi, Clouseau's after you!
Its a good thing we have the US military after him.
The FBI is almost as bad as Interpol, they don't even have Zarqawi on their wanted terrorist list.
INTERPOL can keep their arrest warrant
We have a death warrant and fully intend on using it...
As I said above the FBI is worse in that area.

Interpol today issued world-wide arrest warrants for notorious criminals Bonny and Clyde, Al Capone and Machine Gun Kelly.
The US Marines have their own arrest warrent and it is labeled "dead or alive".
People need to read between the lines...
