Serving the best military in the world and her allies-thank you troops!

Hi! Come on in. Shake the cold off and sit for a spell. Grab a cup of coffee and make yourself comfortable. Perhaps you would care for a cookie or a cup of warm cider? Welcome to the Coffee klatch, a cyber coffee bar in your local FR Canteen, where we serve some great coffee drinks and do our best to entertain you and keep you on your toes.. you know as in ---using your noodle!!

So, glad you stopped by, please take some time to enjoy our "coffee table book" links that will remind you of Christmas in the feild- and give an historical look at what our troops have done to Keep holidays and hope alive during previous wars. PLEASE NOTE that there are some old great Old Time Radio links here. ******Tell you what- send this link to at least one of our troops, so they can have a touch of home for their Christmas or Hanukkah celebrations, and come back to collect your prize***** We want to see if this thread can travel the world faster than Santa's tiny reindeer. Go ahead... jump right in, tell us:

For if I do, my mother will say ...
Did you ever see a goose, kissing a moose,
Down by the bay?
... ever see a whale, with a polka dot tail,
... ever see a fly, wearing a tie,
... ever see a bear, combing his hair,
... ever see llamas, eating their pajamas,
... ever see rats wearing silk hats,
... ever see a goose drinking apple juice,
... ever see a goat riding in a boat,
... ever see a cow with a green eyebrow,
... ever see a moose with a loose front tooth
... ever see an octopus, dancing with a platypus,
... ever see a time, when you couldn't make a rhyme.

Holy Mother-Eric Clapton & Luciano Pavoratti~ Here

O Prince of Peace, we humbly ask Your protection for all our men and women in military service. Give them unflinching courage to defend with honor, dignity and devotion the rights of all who are imperiled by injustice and evil. Guard our churches, our homes, our schools, our hospitals, our factories, our buildings, and all those from within from harm and peril. Protect our land and its people from enemies within and without. Grant an early peace with victory founded upon justice.
Instill in the hearts and minds of men and women everywhere a firm purpose to live forever in peace and good will towards all.
Amen.

Veterans & troops: You are here*.

Then here's to the heartening wassail,
Wherever good fellows are found;
Be its master instead of its vassal,
And order the glasses around.

I would buy a beer for any soldier who has been in Iraq. I would be one of his best friends for life if he wanted it.

I owe him. We all do.
