My Daughter had the honor of meeting Lt. Cololonel Oliver North today.
I'm thinking Reagan, I can't remember the exact year...but I lived in that area until about '89-'90
Is there no length to which Ladies won't go to meet Ollie North?
Just kidding J's Mom. You have a lovely daughter, maam, even Kamo can't hide that fact. A Patriot too, God bless her.
We are grateful to her for her selfless service and devotion to this country and the cause of peace and freedom around this world.
It's one of those words, isn't it?
:0)
Fr colonel, coronel (-r-by dissimilation) < It colonello < colonna, (military) colun < L columna, COLUMN; Fr& E sp. modified after L & It, but older pronoun kept in E
What you mean is LTC North had the honor of meeting your daughter. I bet you that is the way he feels about it. Tell your daughter she has support and thank her for her brave service.
That is so great! Please thank her from my family, and a special thanks to you and the rest of her family members as well. She looks like a great gal!
Hey Sarge -- lookie here!!
Please thank your daughter for me!! *HUGS!*
Hey Seven -- Ollie North is TRULY a nice guy. I met him and a month later my mom and dad and 11yo daughter ran into him at Wright Patterson. He is extremely gracious.
God bless your daughter and you and your family for your sacrifice. You must be SO proud of her! :o)
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my FoxFan list. *Warning: This can be a high-volume ping list at times.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my miscellaneous ping list.
What a beautiful and courageous young lady. Her husband is a lucky man, and you must be very proud of her.
What an honor it must have been for her to meet Col North. We thank your daughter and son in law for their service to our country and for the sacrafices that your family makes during their abscence. Our hearts and prayers go out to them and to all the US Service men and women serving around the globe in defense of liberty and freedom and our great nation.
((( Big Thanks ))) to all who serve and their families as well...send this link to the Lt Col. too! He'll love it!
I am so grateful for your daughters service! How awesome that she got to meet North - thanks for sharing the pic, proud Mom-of-Jen!
SWEET!!!
Your daughter is beautiful!
I'm so jealous - she got to meet Ollie!
Bless your daughter and the Colonel too. I met him at a local museum about a month ago and he very kindly autographed a picture for my marine buddy currently re-deployed. He is a real gentleman; first class!
I worked for Ollie during his 1994 Senate bid in Virginia. Unlike other political figures that I had worked for/with, he was completely approachable, unassuming, and thoroughly unpretentious.
What you see is what you get.
A great American.
What a great picture! Thank Jen for defending and protecting us and tell her to keep safe!
I didn't know that we had beautiful Marines too!! Wow, what will they think of next, all the bad guys will stop and look at her while her buddies pop'em!! Cool...tell your daughter that she is appreciated by a lot more folks like us than she will ever know. I am proud to be an American, and Marines like your daughter make it so. Merry Christmas to all of you and a Very Happy New Years' too!
