There is no magic bullet. The problem must be addressed from all angles at once. When the other required steps are put into place and succeed, (internal controls) maybe the discussion will become how to remove the walls..... Right! and I agree that this is an excellent first step. Part of the solution is also to start cracking down on the employers who hire illegals, the landlords who rent out illegal apartments etc. But its high time we start doing something. Bush and the GOP must finally be reading the polls. Just keep up the pressure on congress and the GOP and we'll see more happen.

In Herndon VA the town council recently authorized a shelter for illegals who wait to be picked up by contractors. ( at the cost of taxpayer money of course, to include social workers, english instructors, etc.) the Herndon Minutemen are at work, though, with cameras and video and have followed and recorded hundreds of contractors and are researching the companies hiring policies, etc and sending all info to ICE and DHS etc.
It's great? I hope they shut it down..

Hell yeah its about time, I say build it a mile high, then put men the wall with guns, lights like they do on prison walls. These illegals are a drain our economy, they demand things they are not entitled to, like welfare, medical etc. And I am getting sick of these illegals coming into our country demanding things like they think they have a right to it. And the new bill giving them 5 years I think it is to either become legal or leave. I say 5 years is too long my self. We need to kick them the hell out of America damn it! Americans cant even get health care and here they are getting a free ride, well no more free rides for you illegals. This has got to stop and now..
