Could be a westernized short for an Arabic name or it could be a Christian Iraqi. A lot of them either have western names or they westernize the name they were given. I've known Iraqi Christians in Baghdad named "Steve" and "Susan."

Despite what the media is trying to portray, a lot of Iraqis are emulating westerners, particularly Americans.

President Bush rush in and was totally biased in his approach to the run up to the war

So, should Saddam have remained in power another 6-12 months, developing God only knows what, and allow the UN continue to jerk us around hoping they'd supply some definition of "legitimacy"? Puh-leeze, spare me.

Don't be fooled the Iraq war is going to outlive the Bush Administration.

Few are "fooled" here. However, we WILL celebrate the victories and positive steps along they way, which is what's happening today.
