SAN QUENTIN, California (CNN) -- Convicted killer and Crips gang co-founder Stanley Tookie Williams was executed early Tuesday at the California state prison at San Quentin.
The execution went ahead as scheduled after the U.S. Supreme Court late Monday rejected a last-ditch appeal.
The high court's ruling followed California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's decision to deny clemency for Williams, 51, who received a lethal injection at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday (3:01 a.m. ET).

No, you grow up...And I'm not your son either. Thank God for that.
And again, you are wrong about my view of justice. You really need to quit jumping to all these false conclusions. Justice has been served. I don't despise it. What I do despise those who delight in an execution, there's nothing delightful about it.
Will you join me in a prayer. 'Lord, please watch over Tookie, and opens up da Pearly Gates for him'
OK, to be more specific..a scaffold and trap hanging with a hangman's knot- lynchers didn't care about the suffering man, so they would use sometimes a plain slip knot. If you add a wire noose as an auxiliary you make double sure and double quick.
many times lynched people were also full of bullet holes.
Thank you for putting into words what I wanted to convey. You are right, justice was served. The process is indeed very sobering.

However, where is the line between the civil government and their handling of civil punishment and where Christian living and biblical guideance come into play.
Do you have additional material that describes or amplifies that the Pharisees were indeed practicing personal retribution rather than carrying out the law as given to them?
I'm not sure - ask Arafat and Franco.
"May G-d bless and keep Tookie...far away from us!"
