It's okay. I'm against the death penalty, too, except in the case of terrorism.

If I thought the Crips were going to get together and turn in all their weapons once Tookie is executed, I'd say, "great". I used to be ardently for capital punishment, but with our piss poor legal system and the corruption of lawyers and the judiciary (as we've all witnessed), I don't think the government should own the right to execute anyone.

Oh well.

what is more just, moral and right? executing the guy, or forcing the parents of those children to spend part of their paychecks for the rest of their lives paying to have him kept in jail?
