He's going to get clemency. There's no way he's going to get on television with this kind of news if it's going to make his supporters unhappy... Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm guessing he would have made the decision, informed the warden, and released a simple statement to the press if the execution is going to go through...

I'm betting he goes for clemency. I wouldn't be surprised if he does. He's the governor of California after all and I don't think clemency costs him too much politically. If he was the governor of Texas this would be a slam dunk.
