I can still see the sneer Ramirez used to have on his face in the courtroom when he knew the camera was on him during his trial. Taking him to the vet and having him put down like the animal he is would have been too good for him. He must be getting pretty close to the end of his appeals by now.

That is so awful; I'm very sorry for him, and all the other victims' families; it was terrifying living in the area at the time....for most residents. I'm glad that those brave men caught him....and I wish he were long gone from this earth....he's already lived 20 years longer than he should have....and that much longer than his victims, and their families, got to enjoy their lives.

I think it needs to be reserved for those who show they are a continuing danger, and not against those who commit stupid crimes and who are remorseful and not likely to kill again.

The problem is that many of those who are a continuing danger are pretty good at NOT SHOWING they are a continuing danger. Given the record of thugs deemed "remorseful" and "rehabilitated" by the "experts", I've got to part company with said experts and their proponents.
