"With the right opponent ( which she won't have now ), Hillary would be beatable."
Let me guess, you were pulling for Ford in '76, and George Bush in the '80 primaries, right?
I'll put my knowledge of political events, history and current, against yours any day of the week, Chester.
"With the right opponent ( which she won't have now ), Hillary would be beatable."
You do know Pirro didn't have a chance in hell. You're gonna have to acknowledge that and get over it.
Et tu, Brute ?
Clemenza,
whom do you want to run against Hillary. I still think Pirro was/is an excellent choice and can defeat Madame Hillary, if not she, then no one can.. Perhaps major Spencer?
Wrong again.
Frank struck a nerve by speaking the truth.
as governor, yes. but he has still won 3 statewide elections, and while his approval rating as governor isn't zooming, he doesn't have high personal negatives either.
But who knows, the "powers that be" in the NYGOP might have another RINO waiting in the wings to replace Pirro. Alot of the RINO establishment types will not settle for Spencer or anyone else to the right of Hilderbeast.
I say keep Jeanine is the race and let the GOP voters decide -- let's see how "electable" she is when the primary rolls around.
What I did post, was that the outrageous, personal attacks, especially about her looks and the lesbianism cracks, were uncalled for.
Oh yes, I am VERY "prejudice"; I am PREJUDICED against the terminally stupid! If the shoe fits, pet......... ;^)
Dick Morris was wrong yet again! He said Pirro would be formidable. Ha!
Yep, sure, of course, naturally, and that's why, I suppose, that Bill Buckley lost so badly! LOL, LOL, LOL
Sometimes it just isn't worth taking your enemies positions to win. Namely for us, because it doesn't work. From a moral position, it never should.
>
You don't get more "demographically unbalanced" (sic) than Rhode Island. Yet, lo and behold, they have a Conservative GOP Governor. How many times must we go over this with you people until it sinks in ?
>
RI's governor is pro Life and GOP?
Hannity was pushing her big time even gave her big bucks.
"so take someone who had the other positions you mention - tax cuts, fiscal conservative, pro judicial reform, etc - add pro-choice and/or gay rights to that, and they are instantly branded a RINO"
From the example given by most specimens of the RINO herd, these pro-abortion, anti-traditional marriage Republicans ARE ALSO pro-tax hikes, pro-bureaucracy, pro-judicial activism, and so on; just at a lower degree than their Democrat counterparts.
So please, don't pretend they are conservative in everything BUT abortion and gay marriage. It's cultural, they reflect the people they live amongst. And most Yankees are socialist-like these days.
Screaming that with an absence of facts to refute Frank's point does not make it so. It only demonstrates that you've lost the argument.
I never said I wanted Spencer to win. I never belived ANY Conservative can win in New York. Hurting Hillary in this Senate bid will hurt her drastically in the 08 bid. And killing her 08 chances is something that could save America from a socialist President.
It's called tactics. I am willing to sacrifice a Senate seat (not really, she'd win anyway) for a Presidency.
Yep.
I hate moderate Republicans.
I rest my case.
Spencer has less of a chance against Hillary than Lazio had.
