Genghis John rides again

TRIBUNE-REVIEW
Sunday, December 11, 2005
Sen. John Kerry's appearance last Sunday on "Face the Nation" suggests he's mastered the nuanced finesse of betraying his contempt for American soldiers without accusing them of behaving in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan.
The Massachusetts Democrat has come a long way since 1971.
Back then, Mr. Kerry had the starring role as the principled and decorated Vietnam War veteran testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee about supposed war atrocities committed not by the Viet Cong but by his fellow vets.
Kerry earnestly testified that other American soldiers said they had raped, cut off ears and heads, randomly shot at civilians and razed villages in a fashion reminiscent of the marauding mass murderer of Mongolia. They must have been remarkably discreet; Kerry never actually saw any of it.
Speaking with host Bob Schieffer about Iraq, Kerry said, "There is no reason ... that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the ... of ... the historical customs, religious customs."
Kerry has not come such a long way from 1971 after all.
Chief Petty Officer Greg Frazho at the Combined Press Information Center in Baghdad told me he had no idea what Kerry was talking about. "I don't know without more specificity to a specific operation or mission," Mr. Frazho said.
Even after sending the press center an e-mail with Kerry's comments, Frazho wrote back: "We've got nothing to release on this issue. We simply can't and won't get involved in political matters, sir. We're not going to comment any further than that."
So how did Kerry know that bands of brothers in Iraq.....

Shouldn't that be 'Jenjis John'?
Genghis Khan wouldn't even have used Kerry as a butt-boy for his horse; maybe a butt-boy for his DOG, but that's as high up as Kerry ever would have gotten in the Mongol empire.
Kerry's Presidential hopes are done.
My two businesses will not do any business at all with Mass as long as these the two cowards are in office.
The article references kKerry's alleged "sources" for his statement, which appear to have nothing whatever to do with "midnight raids" or even "children and kids. . . and women." What a traitorous, lying, scum-sucking POS Kerry is.
Unlike Jane Fonda Murtha, Kerry has never satisfactorily proven himself to be any kind of a war hero beyond actually serving a few months in Vietnam. What he has established is he will tell any lie, spread any rumor, make any accusation, do anything to destroy the morale of our troops, weaken their ability to accomplish the mission and generally work for our defeat.
So, over the past 40, it seems that nothing has changed for Kerry, nothing at all.
The appelation "Genghis John" was first applied to the late COL John Boyd (USAF), from Erie, PA. Member of the fighter mafia, E-M theorist and developed a philosophy that tied together entropy, the second law of thermodynamics and Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle. John Kerry isn't worthy of cleaning John Boyd's pisspot.
All I know is Republicans routed Democrats in 2004 in a style reminiscent of Gengis Khan.
I stand corrected.
I wonder if he still visits the wounded troops as regularly as he says he used to? Must be very uncomfortable for the troops, not so much for Murtha since he has no shame.
He's absolutely right. We should pick one or the other but we shouldn't be terrorizing both.
What a maroon.
"If John Murtha had a Medal of Honor or even a Silver Star I might consider him a hero, but the Bronze Star and Vietnamese medal were handed out like M & Ms."
"Most officers who went to Vietnam came home with them, if they served in any kind of combat unit. Like most of us, of that era, he did his duty."
"Nothing more and nothing less."
"As far as his military expertise, I am not impressed with anyone who spent 37 years in the Marine Corps and retired a Lt. Col."

Traitor Kerry ping
Damn man, don't deprive the state of a livlihood.
He is constantly touted as a 'hawk' when it comes to wars. I recently read that he was one of those who advised Clinton to cut and run in Somalia. That was nearly 13 years ago. How can they get away with still calling him a hawk?
CHARITY: John Frugal Kerry
John Kerry may be a serial cheapskate.
During the early 1990s, with no apparent presidential aspirations, Kerry contributed the following amounts:
$0 in 1991; ...
$820, 1992; ...
$175, 1993; ...
$2,039, 1994;...
$0, 1995.
Kerry and his wife have a combined net worth between $664 million and $760 million...
The question Kerry still needs to answer, however, is why he isn't as generous with his own vast personal wealth as he is with tax money forcibly extracted from everyone else.
