Today, Senator Daniel Inouye, the Ranking Member of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee and a recipient of the Medal of Honor for his service in World War II, released the following statement:
"As a Veteran of World War II, I know what it’s like to fight a war and put your life on the line every day. I also know what it takes to win a war, and I know that politics and an attack machine like the President’s plays no part in it.
"The Republican Party’s latest ad is a shameful and disgusting attempt to distract the American people from the problems in Iraq. It may improve the President’s political fortunes, but the American people and our troops will pay the price. I hope that President Bush realizes how shameful it is to play politics when what we really need is leadership, and that he will direct his Party to take down this ad immediately."

What a load of crap. The Democrats haven't covered themselves in glory with thier attack ads. Man, this guy must think everyone is either blind, deaf, or dumb.

That's correct. The ad is just broadcasting the three Democrat's own speach. It's more than fair. It's accurate. The white flag is the editorial from the GOP.
Inouye is a hypocrite. For some reason, the idiot thinks Bush and the GOP should not be allowed to fire back at the 'RATS.
The dems antics ar e so rediculous that I cannot help but think that it is staged to create an artificial controversy.
Why? Do we need to have a "threat" expressed that our troops may be removed in order to spur on the Iraqi's to take ovedr their own country? Are they dragging their feet because they feel no sense of urgancy?
If I were really suspeicious, I would say this whole controversy has been staged to put the fear of abandonment into the Iraqi heads.

This sick scumbag Inouye and his party are the ones who have politicized the war and endangered the troops with all their anti-American rhetoric. Screw them. Show the ad twenty times during the Super Bowl.
