We will not be playing all the artists and versions that we have. We don't have the space, but we feel you'll get enough variations to enjoy yourself. Background Information: The Englishman, John Francis Wade, wrote both the words and the music, Adeste Fideles. The Musical score was first published in 1782 in Samuel Webbe's An Essay on the Church Plain Chant in 1782. John Francis Wade first included it in his own 1751 publication of Cantus Diversi. The lyrics were first published in 1760. If you hear someone using tissues, it's MoJo. This song has watery effects. To our British and Aussie allies, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Background Info: Joy to the World The words and lyrics of the old Christmas carol 'Joy to the World' were written in 1719 by Isaac Watts (1674-1748). The father of John Watts was a Non-conformist and so extreme were his views that he was imprisoned twice. His father's influence over Isaac was demonstrated when he choose to attend Nonconformist Academy at Stoke Newington in preference to a University. Watts was ordained as a Pastor of an Independent congregation. He wrote many hymns and Carols and was awarded a Doctor of Divinity degree by the the University of Edinburgh in 1728. The music to the carol is by George Frederick Handel (1685-1759). MoJo Thought: Have you ever noticed while reading articles that when referring to GOD that many folks decide to write it *G-D*? What is that? Is it supposed to mean that it is less potent and offensive by keeping the *o* from appearing? My suggestion to these folks isn't to use God at all. If you can't add the *o*, don't write it. This is true for those of you that believe or don't.

Little warmer today. The sun is shining brightly.
High yesterday was 18.
We got very lucky with the "Blizzard" we had freezing rain alternating with rain. Ended up being a bust. (Thanks offered)

I was thinking of throwing in some bacon to the beans, but I got a good whiff of them on the fire, and figured... "NNNAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

Your slow-cooked hickory-smoked spam was probably a good substitute. (Unfortunately, I can't handle meats with added nitrites/nitrates, so that limits what I can use.)
Something in straight-from-the-can Bush's baked beans triggered a migraine once; so far I haven't been ambitious enough to slow-cook some beans to turn 'em into baked beans and not willing to play food roulette to see if I can eat any other brands.

Good evening, Sarge. Looks like a good time was had by all. ((HUGS)) Sounds like "necessity is the mother of invention", or a variation thereof, has stood y'all in good stead!

What didn't work? The link? (It's to the post with that number.)
Last night I asked you how things were going in the blood business, but you ignored me. Thought maybe you weren't talking to me anymore. ;)

I'm enjoying being more involved in the canteen. DJing was first, and with that came more confidence in myself. I made my first thread recently...and it felt good!
Talking about being busy...you seem to be doing a good job at that yourself!
Hugs!

You don't have to apologize for missing a post. I've evidently zoned out and missed a lot of them! I didn't even realize that you'd changed jobs! Good luck in your new endeavor!

OUTSTANDING!
Dad said you called, and again I missed out. But, these pics and stuff tell the story.
No joy on hunting, 9 -10 inches of snow and high wind fixed that. RT 191 by Bob was drifted to one lane in two places.
Dad said broadband is bringing Christmas cheer to more than one person there. And it is doing the same on the home front.
Will be busy next week, box 13 is being assembled.
