Because calling it ecoterroism implies that they mean well for "eco" when really they oppose our society. if their intent and actions are terroristic, then just call it terrorism. Cutting power can kill the elderly or those dependent on technology to survive.

Vast land areas of Oregon, Washington and California are conservative. The liberals have the huge population centers.
