DRUDGE EXCLUSIVE: GOP TO LAUNCH 'WHITE FLAG' DEM ATTACK
The Drudge Report ^

The DRUDGE REPORT has learned from a top GOP operative that the Republican National Committee will provide state parties with a web video prior to release tomorrow afternoon that shows a white flag waving over images of Democrat leaders making anti-war remarks.
The ad is in response to the controversial comments Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean and 2004 Democratic Presidential nominee John Kerry made earlier in the week.
A Democratic strategist who had the web ad described to her said, This is way over the top but we have no one to blame but Dean, Kerry and others who continue to pander to the anti-war activists within our party.
The web video advances the Republican contention that the Democrats only have a retreat and defeat message on the war in Iraq.
The video highlights the effect Democrats can have on the morale of U.S. soldiers.
One Republican strategist familiar with the ad said, The Democrats, especially Howard Dean have a way of trying to turn the tables and say thats not what I meant its just those evil Republicans This video will make them crazy it reinforces what they really believe with what they actually said and that is devastating for the Democratic Party.

Your so right about that! If Lurch read your very wise post tonight I think he would reply........''How dare you call me a whiny wimp with fake injuries. I got sprayed with rice on my buttocks. Thats deserves a whole lot of medals......And never mind that I chose to come home and toss them all over a wall into a dumpster with all the television cameras there.I was making a statement. My actions said I love my country and the decorated soldiers and I'm proving it by tossing these medals into the trash for all the world to know.........see how I love my country and how patriotic I am!......

That's going to leave a skid mark.

Rove doesn't respond to everything. He instead allows the Dems to get to a crescendo, then when events turn his way, he pounces with full force. Expect something similar in the summer of 2006.

Yes, yes and yes. Give them no quarter. The RATS are trying to turn President Bush's successes into failures regardless of the welfare of the country.
Someone should say with great force, "can they be trusted?" Excerpts of Kerry in 1970 and 2005 with Howard Dean in 2004 and 2005 as background over this slogan should hit home. Or at least something like it.
Also, to handle Murtha is no easy task, but neither was Benedict Arnold.

I was with the crowd saying that Bush should not respond to Democrat attacks. But I underestimated how willing the Dems were to blatantly lie on a consistent basis.
Bush has taken the gloves off, and it is great to see, because it has energized the GOP to go after those Dem bastards. It is fun to see them running for the hills, and going after their idiot mascot Howard Dean.

Go George W. Bush. I also have a job where I am often, if only, temporarily hated. That means I'm doing it right!

A Democratic strategist who had the web ad described to her said, This is way over the top but we have no one to blame but Dean, Kerry and others who continue to pander to the anti-war activists within our party. Wow.
Kerry's probably getting ready for another midnight drunken rant and Howie is preping his vocal cords.
Perfect timing. This is about more than politics. It's about this nation's survival and these traitors are jeopardizing our safety, the safety of the troops, and the safety of the Iraqi's. Tome to bring them to account.

It's on Only if they put a bunch of money behind airing these ads. I will believe it when I see it. Pubs will probably back down.

Although this was simmering before this week, Howard Dean's remarks are blowing the top off of this Democratic party debacle.
What an idiot. What an IDIOT! How can Democrats allow this inept madman to run their party?
Ann Coulter's Whig comparisons are increasingly sounding plausible. I know a lot of folks here wouldn't miss the Democratic party one iota, but I don't want to see the party of FDR, Truman, and JFK fade away so shamefully.
