OTTAWA (CP) Prime Minister Paul Martin will venture into violence-plagued Toronto Thursday and announce a sweeping ban on handguns, Canadian Press reports.
Martin is scheduled to visit Toronto's troubled Jane-Finch area to make a "safer communities announcement."
Liberal sources have confirmed the announcement includes a ban on handguns.

Because guns all have big signs attached that scream for attention when they're not being used.Well, like SUVs, they tend to draw attention to themselves by doing the darnedest things.

Sounds like there will be some good hunting for Canadian criminals. Will there be a bag limit on unarmed citizens? Maybe US criminals will head up there for some poaching.

This is sure to backfire. The Liberals don't need any more Toronto votes, and this is going to cost them key ridings elsewhere.

Well, another special liberal move for the world to watch in horror. Actually, I'm watching it in humor.
Not even a blind man, at the bottom of a well, during a full eclipse could have missed this coming, especially after that gun registry debacle.
But, Canadians are sheep. Liberals can do no wrong. They'll be re-elected handily.

Maybe if their prisons are nicer, which they likely are, then perhaps some of our criminals and illegals will find their way north where the cherries hang a little lower.

In the USA, pot is illegal and guns are. In Canada, guns will be illegal, and pot is legal. Some enterprising criminals are going to profit mightily very soon now.

After what the Liberals have done with 'gun control', this is really going to polarize the country.
