Think you're right about Redford. If I were ever invited to the WH to meet the Pres and 1st Lady and then the Kennedy Center with them, I'd be grinning ear to ear.
We have to admit, Tina looks pretty darned good for 60.
Merry Christmas Seven!

Unfortunately, the first person who spoke to them about this was the pulonary specialist who had zip for a bedside manner. He got everyone very upset.I'm so sorry, Apples. We're all praying for Sandy and your family.

Does anyone happen to have the picture of Nancy Reagan sitting on Ronnie's lap while he's dressed as santa? Ask and ye shall receive :)
(Christmas Eve 1983) An assistant helps President Reagan transform into Santa.
"What do you want for Christmas, little girl?" :)
And here's a bonus pic from Christmas Eve 1984.
Merry Christmas :)

Where the pres was today in Kernersville is about 5 miles from where I lived in Winston Salem for many years.. I didn't know that! Are you a native Tarheel?

Did you ever have any luck posting photos? :)
I apologize for my instructions the other night--I wrote them too fast and I may have left out something, or left too much in.
I'll be happy to help you if I can.

The weather here hasn't been much better lately--cold, wet and miserable.

Thank you for the Dose, Snugs :) Many great photos.

you know, I am doing a "slightly embarrassed" over this.. I am thinking of his movie "partner" on occasion, Paul Newman.. married LONG time to former star Joanne Woodward. As I am remembering I know really nothing of Redford's marriage/alliances. sorry

Sorry after asking did not come back to you. It really upsets me when the medical profession get it so wrong. There are times when they um and ah about telling someone something and other times go straight in. I think part of their training should be to ascertain what sort of approach a person wants or needs. Surely this could be done with a few simple questions at the initial consultation.
Of course nowadays certain in Britain and probably in the US there are so many things that are considered your rights and things you have to tell/warn people legally that often the compassion of the moment is forgotten.
Please keep us informed so we can pray constructively. God Bless you and dad an stepmom at this difficult time.

Thanks as ever. Dad had a biopsy done on his ankle today. The doctor thinks it is a pressure sore which may be the starting of some ulceration. He basically took the top off the scab and removed from under skin what he thought was the start of an ulcer. He will get this analyzed and we should get the full result early January but he basically told dad in his opinion there was no real concern but wanted to do it because when he saw him the first time the excessive pain dad was in. So basically sounds like fairly good news but we then have to learn how to look after this ulcer problem
