The pathetic program known as Countdown With Keith Olberman just aired a segment with some putz by the name of Craig Crawford, the exchange went something like this
Keith:Why does the president only speak in front of military audiences whenever he speaks about the war?
Crawford: (Verbatim) It's always easy to appear in front of people who can be court marshaled if they don't applaud.

When you only show your face before military audiences, isn't that a confession of weakness ? Isn't that like LBJ in 1967 ?
I have a better question: Why do liberals never speak in front of military audiences whenever they speak about the war?
He's just another ankle biter.
Hell, whenever Clinton spoke before a military audience they had to confiscate all live ammo.
And why don't democrats appear before the military?
It is actually a funny line, and if it had been Clinton - I'd have laughed till I cried.
If Bush is appearing in front of the troops more, it is because the bad press the troops and the mission have been getting has been wearing on their morale. Especially now when they're getting real close to the December elections for a permanent government in Iraq and the negative press has completely ignored what a bang up job our service members have been doing.
So, if the President wasn't doing what he is doing, the press would be criticizing him for ignoring the troops who are sacrificing for his policies.
Crawford and Olbermann are in love with each other.
Irresponsible journalism is no excuse for lies, this kind of s*it is actually believed by some of the public, it's just sickening that anyone would air this kind of crap.

Based on Clintoon's history it's because no one would applaud.
Whoever this person was, he sounds like some snot nosed B.S. artist, and a very poor one at that.
Check out the troops whenever the President speaks. Not everyone claps. Most do, but there are those who don't, and I'd like this putz to provide evidence anyone has been prosecuted or punished for not doing so.
There is no act too low for the liberal media. You can't fool all of the people all of the time. The louder these folks become the sooner their chickens will come to roost. All it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing.
Funny joke about Clinton. However, in all seriousness, Clinton visited the Pentagon once, three days before he left office to receive his farewell ceremony.
He visited North Vietnam before he visited the Pentagon.
Its just as well, the military despised him as much as he despised us.
The nerve of that Bush always talking to the troops. Who does he think is anyway--the Commander-n-Chief or something? (sarcasm off)
