[history]
Shep Smith was on his 3PM EST segment and talking with Wayne Simmons about paying for news in Iraq. Somehow the talk changed to Murtha and when Simmons said Murtha had bad-mouthed (or words to that effect) our troops, Shep went ballistic.
He said Murtha never made any comments regarding our troops being exhausted, out of supplies and in general the most recent Murtha slams of the war.
It was scary and had Simmons been on the set, I think Smith would have gotten into his face (a very bad career move, as well as bad for the health).

No, I don't think Shep was ever married. But he looks like he could jump the lovely Jane Skinner most of the time..:)

Greta's a scientologist and I think she's got some obsessive compulsions that are apparent. She needs to go back to the sci hotel and get clear.

A lot of people have been tough on Shep, but I could understand how he freaked out in New Orleans. He had to stand there for days with those people who had no food and water. I think he was burned out.

Thanks for the ping, Tx.
I just could not believe how Shep was yelling and saying that Murtha's words had been twisted when Simmons said that Murtha called our forces broken down.
Shep reminds me of Ted Baxter from the Mary Tyler Moore show!

Agree. But there are those here that would argue "sensitive men" can't be straight. But when Geraldo freaked out in N.O, no one was calling him "Gay"...LOL.

"FOX is rapidly becoming CNN."
You know, I've been thinking along that line, just this week. The thing that got me was the salivating, uncritical way various Fox talking heads- particularly on the 1 pm show- gave such a pass to the front men of the AIDS industry.
But I digress. I shall smite them also, with my remote!!!!

Give Shep an amyl nitrate and he'll feel better.
Is it cheaper than an amyl dayrate?

The bat boy caught him snogging with the alien who met with Clinton in the White House. In all fairness, Shep might not have known the alien was a boy.

"Anyone who puts mousse in his hair is... gay? I bet he wears pleated trousers, and tassled loafers."
Hey!!!!!!!!!! Except for the moussie hair, I like the other two, on men!!!!! Also camel hair coats and especially if they can afford it. But I'd really object if Shep wore one of those dippy string ties.
But that's just me. Am I the only woman on this thing, tonight?
Shep has tremendous charisma and unique delivery. I missed the hissy fit re Wayne Simmons. I don't care if Shep is gay or not. If he said Murtha didn't disparage our troops, he's badly mistaken and shows a total lack of attention. Not good in a newsman.

Ailes may be losing it. Wasn't there a story a week or so ago that he was airing a global warming special and wouldn't allow any opposing views to be exhibited?

I was listening to that in the car and could not believe how he turned into what Alan Colmes wishes he was. Maybe he was auditioning for Colmes spot. Without seeing him do it - it sounded like he was spitting all over his pristine desk. He is now on my despised list for sure.

REPLY:
Paul seems to have a lot of common sense which Shep doesn't.
He can talk liberals silly with his common sense approach about any contrived problem when they try to scam their less knowledgeable voters.

I don't care whether he is gay, bisexual or a cross dressing nut. I just don't like his pompous know-it-all attitude when reporting the news as he sees it.
I read on here that he is neutral but the people saying that (mostly the Democrat Party base) thinks HowWeird Deaniac and HowWeird Stearniac are mainstream in their thinking.

When Shep comes on I go to MSNBC. Is this heresy?
