Shep Smith was on his 3PM EST segment and talking with Wayne Simmons about paying for news in Iraq. Somehow the talk changed to Murtha and when Simmons said Murtha had bad-mouthed (or words to that effect) our troops, Shep went ballistic.
He said Murtha never made any comments regarding our troops being exhausted, out of supplies and in general the most recent Murtha slams of the war.
It was scary and had Simmons been on the set, I think Smith would have gotten into his face (a very bad career move, as well as bad for the health).
Greta didn't have a stroke, just an extreme facelift. No makeover on her standard liberal media-people politics, though.

Shep has some serious anger manangement issues. During the hurricane in N.O. he off-loaded onto an on duty police officer. I was surprised that he wasn't arrested. During the Fl. re-count, he had some serious issues with a woman concerning a parking space, and I believe that he was arrested. He's a news MAKER.
I hope that Paul Gigot gets Shep's time slot when Opinion Journal is picked up by Fox in January.
I keep hearing this rumor about Shep being gay. Is there any proof?

Thank you for this post....I love Shep though I do think he goes a little over the top sometimes.....but you got to admit, next to Brit he is the best looking thing on Fox....ok, guys back off, I'm sure you think those babes in short skirts are better looking....and let me tell you, when I pass on the rumors of his sexuality to my mother, she goes into deep depression....she calls him "that cute little thing from Mississippi".....so the kiss and giggle comment is certainly appropriate....he may just be one of those metro-sexual thingy's (like that idiot skerry)....
agree....Brit's roundtable and the Beltway Boys on Saturday are my two favorite features on FNC.....I LOVE Fred & Mort...and have a major crush on Brit....
Didn't see it, but Shep demonstrated some serious liberal tendencies when he went "native" down in New Orleans after the Katrina storm which was of course Bush's fault.
At least O'Reilly, Hume, Gibson, and the others are legitimate journalists. Where did Shepard Smith come from?
Get Laurie Dhue back and let her be the anchor. I actually heard her refer to "the late, great Ronald Reagan."
Never say a Shep Smith show end to end, or five minutes straight for that matter. Too smarmy for my taste.

I think Greta's show needs a title change....."The Greta and Beth Show" - I have total sympathy with Beth Twitty and wish like hell they'd find Natalie so she could be brought home to Alabama and laid to rest but I'm about sick to death of the Greta/Beth duo! I truly believe that that good looking hunk Jug will eventually walk because what kind of marriage is there now with Beth either in Aruba or on every show that will have her. I don't mean for any of this to sound hard but those are my thoughts!
I read that a gay reporter saw Shep in a Gay bar, and said Shep tried to hit on him. Well...consider the source. I place no credibility in it.
As a woman, I don't find Shep to be effeminate in the least. But for those who do...remember Tony Randall? Wonder how many people thought he was Gay?
