"My son can finally lay to rest," her husband, Kimo Aiwohi, told reporters. "And I'm very happy for my wife."If he wasn't "human" then how was he your "son?"

As disgusting as this ruling is, it is consistent with the "Culture of Death" advocates who usually try to contort the meaning of words to suit the purpose at hand. In a way, it may force their acceptable horrors into the daylight.

The liberals will not stop until every unwanted pre-born baby is dead.
They want federal funding to pay for it, too.

Supreme Court of Hawaii: 100% democrat party utterly corrupt lawyers

This, from the first state to make abortion legal. There is another case now pending where a pregnent woman was beaten into a comma by her boyfriend - again, drugs are involved. She is on life support and is now brain dead. The question now facing doctors and the court is whether to keep her on life support to eventually deliver the baby or disconnect her now and kill the "unhuman being". We wouldn't do that for animals but we will for "humans".

Why shouldn't the potential mommy be allowed to harm her fetus? After all, it's just another part of her own body. A part with its own brain, its own heart, its own nervous system, its own digestive system, its own lungs... her own thoughts, her own feelings, her own dreams... her own pain...
Hey, wait a minute...

All this ruling does is carry the constitutional right to partial-birth abortion to the next logical step. It wouldn't be very logical to make intentional killing of an almost-born baby legal, but criminalize hist accidental harming by the "mother."

The Supreme Court of Hawaii has ruled that unborn children are not "human beings," Didn't the law say the same things about Negroes in the 1850s?

So then the Hawaiian SC has ruled that a person can take whatever drugs they want to put into their bodies, no?
Your body. Your privacy. "Victimless crime" et al.

So a baby is a person only when someone other than her mother causes her death? Culture of death logic.

So, I guess this means, in Hawaii, that if someone stabs a pregnant mother and kills the unborn non human then they can't be tried for murder if the mother lives? Or does this ruling, as so many democrat rulings do, only apply to the mother, does the baby miraculously turn human again if someone other than the mother kills it?

How was the baby able to "die" two days later, if it was not "born" and "alive"?
What, then, was the cause of death? How did the illegal drugs happen to be in the baby's system?
I truly am trying to understand the logic; but it just is not there...

"The proscribed conduct must have been committed at a time when Treyson 'qualified' as a 'person,' defined by the Hawaii Penal Code as 'a human being who has been born and is alive,'" they wrote. If this is what the law says, do we want the law changed or do we want judges to decide based upon their own feelings about what the law should say?
Aren't conservatives against judicial activism?

A little baby died, and the mother walks away scot-free. I wouldn't bet on it. She hasn't met her maker yet!!!
