What on Earth is wrong with people? Has any culture ever had such a large portion of its population harbor a "death wish" for their own country as the present-day USA apparently has?

Certainly none that has survived, I'm sure.

This is really disgusting. Of all the shapes, statues, and types of memorials that could be erected and this is what was chosen? What about a neverending circular wall topped with 40 eagles and one eternal flame in the center. The circle would be inside what some would think of as the shape of a Christmas tree. I prefer to think of it as the shape of hands placed together in Christian prayer.

Besides, the terrorists are with their 72 virgins; they don't need to be recognized with some sort of memorial. BTW, what happens when Islam runs out of virgins or is there an endless supply of them? And women Muslim terrorists - are they promised 72 virgins, too? Does that make them lesbians? If so, isn't that a crime against Islam? Or do they get male virgins? Or maybe women of Islam don't get to partake in any hanky panky stuff when they die as a martyr for Islam. So what do they get other than being dead? It is all so confusing to me...

Now tell me Mohammed wasn't a player...

Oh. I'm not surprised that happened there either.

It's about time we formulated an exit strategy from europe. It's time to let the socialism fail.

Didn't bush propose pulling out some/most/all of our troops from there during the campaign trail last year?

I am no conspiricy theorist but it is beyond question that this was intended as a slap in the face of the United States.

It is INTENDED as a scar praising the hate america crowd.

Look at the looney PC crowd trying to turn the twin towers memorial into an "American Atrocities" museum by trying to parallel the islamic cultists with the US civil rights movements.

This is not angst or "get a life", this is the culture war in full bloom.

All of this hand-wriging says to me that some people have let the islamo-fascists appropriate the imagery of a broken circle. A broken circle can never again be a broken circle, is that it? Loo-loo-koo-koo-noo-noo?

Ever since the french told us to come get our trash off our land(the soldier's bodies) I've said they deserve all that they get.

Do you have a source for that? I'm pretty sure it was a completely untrue rumor. No matter how bad their politics, there is no way they would ever say anything like that (except, perhaps, for a few far-out nuts, but we have some of those too).

Re: your tagline. I think I remember hearing OBL making the exact statement on video. Am I correct? Spookiest thing I've heard coming out of the world of the muzzies, but a fitting epitaph for the cult of death.

May their lot rest in pieces.

It would be fitting if a pig sty were to be located on the crescent, with four pigs (one for each terrorist).
Each pig could have a sign around its neck with the name of a terrorist.
I would help finance that.

Some people need to get a life. I cannot BELIEVE the amount of angst over this memorial.

You would have a hard time convincing even the most brainwashed leftist to believe that this memorial isn't a shrine to the terrorists.

I just phoned. I am so angry now that I am shaking. The woman I spoke to had the NERVE to tell me that that my interpretation of the *44* blocks was just one person's interpretation. Hello?? Anyone in there? There were 44 bodies. Four of them were evil mass murdering so and sos. The rest were innocent victims. I am disgusted.

People will see what they want to see, which happens to be the very definition of a conspiracy theorist.

? Are you saying a trained architect just happened to design a red crescent, a sundial and just happened to include the hi-jackers in the death block count? Are you smoking crack? The design isn't an accident, no more than 40 crosses and four pig statues would be an accident. Pull your head out and get a clue....

There are just too many things that fit the notion that this is a shrine for the terrorist murderers. Write your Senators and Congressman/Congresswoman and ask them to register disapproval for this farce. See www.house.gov and www.senate.gov

Email people you know and ask them to do the same.

Flight 93 Memorial Still an Islamofascist Shrine

Earlier today, mainstream media (aka the New York Times and Associated Press) told us that the Flight 93 “Crescent of Embrace” memorial had been (grudgingly) redesigned to remove its incredibly offensive inclusion of the religious symbol of the 9/11 hijackers.

At Error Theory, Alec Rawls says it’s a trick: Redesigned Flight 93 memorial still an Islamo-fascist shrinelink: 383 comments

Color me shocked; elitest "artist" and company revel in putting one over on us proles. And how proud he must be of his "inclusive" move, using 44 translucent blocks to count the terrorists among the victims. Thank goodness for the internet. We'll get the word out, even if the MSM won't.  Information on who runs this memorial site here.
