Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.

A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.

Ready or not, the holiday season is upon us again! This past weekend began the busiest time of the year for most of us - from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day. About this time three years ago - our first Christmas at the Finest - we asked for help from our readers in guest-writing a holiday thread, and your response warmed our hearts; you were such a big help to us, and got us through a very busy time with fun, interesting, and unique holiday threads. We appreciate you and couldn't do it without your support!

Dolly, I Loved that Kitty Thread you Posted Earlier, where the Kitties looked like they were Putting Up a Tree! One of those Kitties was so Pretty; her Smokey-Gray Fur Reminds me of a Kitty I Used to have.

We work our fingers to the bone...making toys, maintaining Fatboy's sleigh, feeding the reindeer, and collecting info on all the Boys and Girls.

for quite a few years (not the past two) I have been a Santa's Elf with the National Park here for the 4 weeks prior to Christmas.... on the train & the Polar Express.. that is the closest I come to knowing much about Santa's elves.. of course last year's movie Polar Express gave YOU some publity.

You mean you were a Santa's helper...unless of course you have pointed ears. But I suppose your heart is in the right place. We elves appreciate your thoughtfulness and help! Try as we might...being everywhere at once is difficult...except of course for Fatboy. That Santa Suit has some neat powers!

Prezident?... oh, you mean the Pink Skin Human they call Dubya! Shucks, he is My HERO!! He should be everybody's hero!! But too many humans are political wahoos.

I'm glad you liked the presentation of Pippin's thoughts, Kitty. Had used the snow background in the "Let it Snow" Christmas thread last year and almost forgot about it, but it worked well with the *night* colors, didn't it? :)

Cleaning reindeer exhaust from the stalls, walls, ceilings and roofs is a never ending job...and Fatboy gives me this duty whenever I sass him...like I always do!

Beautiful thread. Stopping in to say Hello to FR's Finest folks. Yes, Christmas season is here :-) I think about everything I have to do. As always, I will do everything the last minute, that's just the way I am :-)
