Cindy Sheehan needs a rope line likes she needs a bikini.

Still, the intellectual detritus of our society turned up to shake her hand (probably for the 100th time). Skinny men with scraggly beards....dumpy women like her sister with 'sensible' hair and makeup. Sandals everywhere.

A gathering of 20 at a family picnic wouldn't draw news coverage but the this whole circus has been a low point in media bias, agenda and predetermined outcomes.

Cindy is obviously tired and can't keep the act up. She doesn't even look them in the eye and the 'heartfelt' hugs are quicker and less personal now. It is over and even a thick nut like Cindy knows it.

I'm truly shocked they didn't do their photo op with the 100 or so that showed up completely piled around the table making it SEEM as though she was overwhelmed...

They were probably off feeding their large bodies and couldn't be distracted.

I think that this old hag should get the message we do not want her around these parts..When the people at the hippie shack in Crawford has to bus in street people from Austin and pay them to eat a meal for a few pictures then they should admit to that instead of calling them protester of the war..

Sheehan had a similar turn out for one of her speeches a few weeks ago (around the time Hurricane Rita was the newsmaker).

Sheehan was to give a major policy speech [snicker] in the Washington DC area (IIRC). The only ones at the speech were Sheehan and two foreign journalists.

This empty tent at the recent book signing should be a clue for Sheehan: Your 15 minutes were up weeks ago. Go home and do something useful -- bake cookies or something.

When I first saw these new book signing photos, I thought they were taken at that appearance a few weeks ago.

I knew a few weeks ago Sheehan was to give a speech and only 2 foreign journalists showed up.

The media protects her. I think the media is souring on her because her stupidity is making their job of sanitizing her very difficult.

I'd like to see that picture but a couple of examples were:
--talking about the occupation of New Orleans
--big grin when being arrested (not the grieving mother)

I just think her stupidity is causing them problems. She reminds me of the Italian Communist who talked about hundreds of bullets. She was another media hero who they could not control.
