Al Franken stepped out of his comfortable echo-chamber of Air America on Monday night and was given more than one lesson by Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. The C-List political commentator attempted to rip off a sophomoric shot at Justice Scalia, but was quickly embarrassed, according to a report in the NY Post.
Franken, apparently unaware of exactly how far he was stepping up in class, was chided "as if he were a delinquent schoolboy at Time Warner Center on Monday night.

Has this encounter been re-run? I'd love to see it.
Ditto. It probably looks a lot like the 1996 Fiesta Bowl.
"One of these days, Al is going to tangle with someone very bright and simultaneously in a grouchy mood in front of the nation. It's not going to be a good day for Al."
First choice: Mark Levin
Second choice: Rush.
(Mark only beats out Rush because Rush would be too NICE to Franken)
"He's more of a match for Barney Franks"
I don't think he is even a match for Barney Rubble !!!
" Ditto. It probably looks a lot like the 1996 Fiesta Bowl."
Go Gators,,,,,sigh
UF '97
"normally a very nice person" except when he's been drinking or not.
One of liberals great weakness is, they are so sure they know more than ignorant conservatives, that they never bother to consider any counter arguments, that might be used against them. When they debate an informed conservative, they are forced to respond with ad hominums, logical fallacies or other dodges.

Rush tangles with him daily.... Look at their ratings :)
Not to bring up any past FR controversies or anything, but does anybody think that Harriet Miers would been able to school Al Franken so?
Al Franken Schooled by Antonin Scalia at New York Event"
Schooled? More like spanked!! LOL!
I remind Franken of the old adage "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt."
Ouch!
:)
Not a fan of her as the pick - and she wouldn't have done as well as Scalia, but I've actually listened to his radio talk show - and he is one slow witted man.
He can't speak over 10 words without an ummm, uh, ummm slipping out.
I'd even put my money on one of Miers' staffers.
It shouldn't be any surprise that Scalia had to lecture Al. Al has the intellectual capacity of a three-year-old, after all.
twit...has a nice ring to it.
However too many conservatives make the mistake of assuming that people they disagree with politically are morons in everything they do. Franken is dead wrong politically, but he is not a moron. Like everyone else, he is intelligent in certain matters and dumb in others. The others being logic and reason. In the latter case he is joined by millions of other hardcore libs.
These same people might be witty and entertaining dinner or travel companions. They might even be your friends. But they should never be allowed to run the country or influence policy. In matters of national security, economics, crime, or anything else of real import on a national scale, libs are truly wackos.
The Liberal Dogma has to be the most illogical concept ever drawn up!
