Three witnesses told police they saw a man and two women in a four-door white vehicle approach the Murphy USA gas station in the southwest corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot...The man then threw a package of red tubes wrapped with electrical tape. They were made to resemble dynamite, and also attached was something made to resemble a fuse, police said.

Another story has them flying airborne over the station in an orange Dodge Charger and firing fake dynamite from a bow and arrow, screaming HeeHaaaww!

Could be someone stepping up "I hate Wal-Mart" campaigns. Or it could just be some idiot that decided this'd be a fun prank to play to impress his friends. I'm betting on the latter, but when they're caught they'll try to have some psuedo-explanation...or at least they ought to.

I joked about doing stuff like this when I was a kid, but even at my most immature moments I knew better than to actually do it.

Well now remember this next time you are holding a pair of road flares in your hand beside the road. ;-)
At least a dozen passing motorists will call and report you for trying to throw dynamite sticks at passing cars and you will be the honorary recipient of a felony stop ritual......
What is the world coming to ?

Could be someone stepping up "I hate Walmart" campaigns. It's probably those charming union goons. I was shopping in Walmart the other day and noticed some frozen packages where the seal had been broken. It looked intentional - not like a slipped box cutter. When asked, an employee explained union guys come in and damage the food to make Walmart look bad.
The fact that union goons would be willing to endangers peoples health tells me all I need to know about union ethics - or is that an oxymoron?
Would these jerks do dynamite hoax? Yep. They're overpaid lowlifes -- and they would do it in a New York minute.
