As a result of their arena exploits, Pullo and Vorenus have become heroes to the Roman rank and file, causing Caesar to reward those he normally would punish. Pullo's unexpected return to Vorenus' household is not appreciated by his former slave Eirene. Caesar decides to overhaul the Senate by adding some unexpected new faces, to the chagrin of the old guard. And Servilia hurdles the final obstacle in her ambitious revenge scenario, at Niobe's expense.

Well, I have been down in New Orleans with the 39th INF BDE of the AR Nat'l Guard and have caught up with Rome on HBO-HD on Friday.
I hope that this last episode will be as enjoyable as the last 11.
DCB This will be the last "ROME" post until FEB 2007, where it is rumored that Octavius Augustus will chase Marc Antony back to Egypt.
I'm looking forward to the DVD release in 2006....and the rumored BLUERAY or HDDVD release in late 2006.

I'm amazed at how quickly time has passed for this season. Caesar ascends to power and assassinated within 12 eps! LOL. I bet Vorenus finds out about Niobe's bastard child. I would give anything to see Servilla killed at the hands of Octavia. Servilla is 10 times worse than Atia.

Octavious is a panzie, if he wins it will only be because Cleopatra has cut off Antony's nads.

I love this show and can't believe I have to wait until 2007...but then again, Octavius must grow up a bit. Remember him in Master and Commander? He was the best actor on that ship!!!!
THIRTEENTH!!!!!

Pssst!
I've heard an unsubstantiated rumor that Caesar "gets" it tonight!

A bunch of buddies with no HBO is heading over for the final two eps.
Judging from brief clips of Vorenus from the preview, perhaps he does find out about his "grandson." It's also rumored that another cast member dies in the finale.... Niobe? Atia? Servila?

Niobe? Atia? Servila?
Best way to make sure no one watches in 2007 is to kill Pullo, Vorenus, or Niobe. ...Atia is just too creul and manipulative NOT to return...so I bet its Servillia (her use was used up after being dumped by Caesar).

Oh, I am SOOOO sad that it will be so long before I can see another one! I am amazed how attached I get to these silly shows.
Be back after the show airs to discuss the "Man, can you believe it" factor!

I tell you what, if they kill either Pullo or Vorenus, I won't watch again. Those two are wonderful.

Should be great. HBO really knows how to do it right.I wish our moderators wouldn't move this to chat. They have, many times before, left threads in news for such wildly popular shows as, "lost", "apprentince", "etc...
Chat...where threads go to die...sigh....

Agreed...Pullo and Vorenus ARE the show! When they kicked a@@ last week in the arena, I was cheering as if it was Hockey night.

Gosh, I never was good at making connections.
Octavius is the kid who had his arm sawed off in that other movie right?
Right?
